The hygiene in there is a no from me. When there were trucks delivering meat, THERE WERE BIRDS EATING IT. Those pigeons and ibis’s look dirty. The meat is cheap I guess but keep in mind what happens to the meat. Avoid chicken wings or filets as I saw them being eaten by birds in the truck. Also it is quite crowded. I don’t recommend if you are strict about hygiene

There are some bulk sale butchers around, mainly pork in this store. The price is good but the portion is way too too huge for a 2 person family. I guess the ribs piece could easily feed us more than a week. Average good! Wear water proof shoes before get in.

I have been a regular at Wilmeat. Recently, it has gone down in service. Some of the staff are very rude. Cameras are not allowed inside, otherwise I could have taken some snippets. They are busy giving their own friends better cuts or keep for themselves to take. You can get a better cut at the butcher. The prices have increased too. You would find cheaper in the supermarkets.
