Bottlemart Express - Wongan Hills Hotel

The Wongan Hills Hotel is a lovely hotel. The building is delightfully Art Deco, with many original features intact. The staff are wonderful and a delight to deal with. And the food is typical of a good country pub - wholesome, unpretentious, and very good quality.It is far enough off the main tourist traps to be unspoilt, but close enough to take hospitality seriously.Highly recommend, and on my list of places to return to.

I love Wongan Hills Hotel. My room was amazing. My deep fried barramundi with chips was amazing. The 'too many beers' was amazing. The guy I was chatting to from the Dowerin Field Day was amazing. I had a good night. Country pubs rule! Room 23 until proven wrong is the best!

Rooms were date but cheap, clean and cheerful. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. I ordered chilli nachos (entre size) which was generous, fresh and authentic. Good vibes, sports on tv and just what you'd expect from a country hotel.

Good meals, reasonable prices.

Got a good selection of drinks. They have extended their hours so that is good. I believe that it's open until 9pm.If your in need of drinks after that you can get them from the bar at takeaway price.

Wow what a place where to start I would rate this place is one of the best pubs I've been in Western Australia after driving so long I walked in and the young bloke behind the bar help me get a room for the night after having a shower I went and had some tea I got the kids fish and chips and I wasn't very hungry it was really nice the people next to me had ordered pizza and it looked really good they had workers down one end enjoying their beers after work the locals we're enjoying there bees and us travellers was made welcome the rooms were quite nice and they also had a dining room area as well overall if you get a chance to stay here call in from mwh

A lovely country pub with cheerful staff and great meals.I enjoyed a T bone steak with chips and salad. It was huge!Quick service and a lovely atmosphere.

Great hotel. Food is outstanding along with the service. The family had the full burger range from hamburger to deluxe steak burger. Recommend them all.

Travelled here a few times now, each time ordering something different from the restaurant and each time being disappointed.The latest meal being the Chicken Parmi. It was awful, mainly as it was made with undercooked chicken thigh instead of breast.Stick to the pizza if you don't want any supprises.

Though the rooms were old but in keeping with the 60's vibe, everything was clean and worked. Jaz was fantastic when our disabled daughter needed another mattress, couldn't have been more helpful. The food was fantastic, as was the staff. Thank you for a pleasant venue for our holiday.
