Petit Early Learning Journey Forest Hill

Today my son said goodbye to his friends and the wonderful educators at Petit Forest Hill.Leaving him when he was only 8 months old at the center with his blanket and his dummy on the first day was a very hard thing to do. The educators comfort him with motherly care and looked after him very well. Soon he became friends with all the kids and educators were his favourite.With great daily fun activities, learning programs and term reviews have given us a really good indication of my son’s development and surely the educators knew him very well. When I saw him today saying bye by hugging and thanking to all his educators, I could see how grateful he was and also some kind of a sadness inside when he said to me in the car “I can’t believe I’m finished kinder, I miss them”His journey at Petite for the last 5 years has been wonderful.Words can’t thank enough all the educators who looked after him, cared with love, nurtured him, educated him and support him in various way to be how he is today.All the best Petit Forest Hill and for all the kids who starts school in 2023.

After reading some of the positive online reviews and the fabulous pictures of the centre on the website, we were looking forward to checking out this place.We had our tour and from the second we walked in, my husband and I were instantly put off.Firstly, a smile goes a long way. The centre manager was so cold, greeted us with such bluntness which made us feel really uneasy. I was holding our 10 month old son who is a very curious little boy and wanted to touch the iPad at reception. She abruptly took the iPad and put it away. Major red flags.I was also disappointed to find that the rooms weren’t as vibrant as they look in photos.Unfortunately, our encounter today has put us off completely from even considering this place to care for our little boy. Like I said, a smile goes a long way.

I have been sending my child here for the past two months. As a first time dad, Petit was highly recommended as the centre to send my child too. The management staff are very friendly and approachable. Any questions I have are answered or inquired about. We are always greeted by our names when we arrive and when it's time to go home.The staff create new and exciting activities for the children and are devoted to the development of those children who attend. My child has had great fun interacting with his educators and all the other children in his room over the last two months. I would highly recommend to anyone to send their child here. Would be happy to send any future children to the centre without any hesitations.

One of the best and cleanest centres I’ve ever been in. Centre was bright and inviting and children enjoyed it. The staff and families felt like family and it has an amazing centre manager that goes above and beyond for her families and staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!

My boy arrived Melbourn from China when he was 4 and I put a lot of effort to look for a good long day care center for the little new comer. It turned out that my choice was absolutely right. Firstly the center is a franchise one which guarantees the formal and professional operation which are essential to the kids, e.g., sufficient educator resource, good food, attended administration, etc. Secondly, many lovely and responsible educators taking good care of your child. Thank you Betty for your love and kindness. Thank you Belinda for your leadership. Thank you Queenie, Kristen, Venessa and all the other educators for your love to my son. Although it was just one month journey, I am sure it would be a wonderful memory for him and our family.

My two boys attended this centre since it opened - progressing from the baby room and graduating recently from the kinder room. The staff are attentive, kind and really knew both of my children. Communication was excellent with daily, detailed feedback that was communicated to me via Storypark and also by the staff at pick up. Educational opportunities including yoga, music, visits to the local library, cooking, woodworking and school ready sessions with a speech therapist were just some of the various things that were organised and provided by the centre. The centre always celebrated a whole range of different cultural celebrations including Chinese New Year, Diwali and Christmas and always provided regular opportunities to invite the community into the centre for Mother's Day, Father's Day and Graduation events. Connections to community were also a priority, arranging events to support St Kilda mums, jeans for jeans, pyjama day just to name a few. I always felt completely confident leaving the most precious people in my life in the care of the staff at Petit Forest Hill.

This is my second time writing a review for Petit at Forest Hill. I have searched for different places. They can all offer good facilities, cleanness, modern designs, well thought system but if I had to choose, BEST EDUCATORS & PROGRAM, no one can beat Petit Forest Hill. It is amazing how much your child learn content knowledge from them and also great manners and building up characters. It is not about how parents feel, it is about your children’s learning and how much they put in effort for each student here. It is amazing and they deserve much more recognition for that. I have been sending our children to Petit in Forest Hill since the centre first opened in 2016. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Petit offers great weekly programs such as yoga and music. They also offer additional services such as visits from the local dentist and flu vaccinations. The new playgrounds are very impressive, as is the early learning program. My children also love the resident turtle, bunny and the chickens. I would highly recommend Petit Forest Hill.

Fantastic centre to work at. Not only are the company supportive and hold strong values, the Forest Hill centre goes above and beyond to ensure each child has a positive learning journey. The Director Belinda and 2IC Rebecca are extremely welcoming and supportive and have strong communication with the families. The centre have large budgets to be able to update resources to each child’s individual interests, they also run weekly sessions such as sport, yoga, music and science classes and take part in multiple incursions and excursions throughout the year. The centre is very spacious and have 2 large outdoor areas for children as well their centre pets such as chicken, rabbit, turtle and many fish.
