DNA Custom Cycles

I happened to find DNA Custom Cycles via just Google maps search. I should have known Darren and Von a lot earlier in my life so that I could have given them an opportunity to service my bikes!I brought my 2000 Yamaha R6 track bike which was at another shop which couldn't really fix a core fuelling problem. I spent so much money which was nothing short of waste. I actually wanted to just wreck it but I have a never give up attitude. Some how I courage up and gave it to under Darren's hands.They did a base run on a WOT on the mainline Dynometer which indicated some really core fuelling issues which is what I had explained as the root cause at the time of dropping off the bike.They pulled apart the carburetors to find that some of the needle jets especially Cylinder 3 and 4 was not the same spec as others. Main jets were not the right etc. The tank had a lot of rust which I sorted it out. These guys were so patient in fixing this shows that you need true patience with old bikes and a never give up attitude. They also identified a TPS issue of the bike on the second dyno run.They patiently explained the diagnosis and suggested the remediation steps. When the work was finished I had the opportunity to immediately put it on the SMSP track and saw the bike running sweet!Thank you Darren and Von!I was also very impressed with Darren's skill of not just mechanical inclination to fix bikes but his skills to weld, fabricate and make parts with his CNC machine a very rare find!Time to put some well deserved DNA Custom Cycles stickers on my bike Darren!

Darren is really helpful when it comes to selecting the right set of tyres for your bike as well as great servicing on all bikes. There is also a mainline Dyno available and he can create excellent custom fuel map and do any mod request your after.

Darren is the best mechanic and all round top bloke. Has fixed my bike on short notice each time. I will be continuing to bring my bike here. Never had any issues afterwards and pricing is fair. You won't find a better place to take your bike.
