Beechworth House

We recently had an overnight stay at Beechworth House and will be returning again soon. Great accommodation very close to the town and wonderful for our dog to be able to stay. Denis and Carolyn were fabulous hosts and Denis prepared the most amazing meal for us along with a fabulous breakfast the following morning. Well worth a visit.

my partner and I stayed at Beechworth house with our dog to ride on the rail trail. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Beechworth House. The bed was comfortable, the bath was perfect for relaxing.Denis, the man who ran the place is very easy to communicate with. he and Caroline made sure we had everything we need during our stay.We also had Denis cooking us 2-3 courses meal, it was such a pleasant experience and dinner was delicious, especially the soufflé, highly recommended. would love to come back in Summer and enjoy the pool then.

Our recent 3 night stay at Beechworth House was fabulous, both in terms of a very relaxing experience and a wonderful culinary experience. Chef Denis served us dinner each night (we were going to dine elsewhere on the second night but why go elsewhere when fine dining is served right on your door step) and each meal was exceptional, including breakfast in our room on our last day. Carolyn and Denis are amazing hosts - very friendly and willing to share tips on places to visit in the area. Bed is very comfortable, the garden is beautiful and lots of space for our dog to have a run each day. Also very serene surroundings - only a short 5 min drive into town or walk if you prefer. Once the pool is completed, that will be the icing on the cake. Thank you, Denis & Carolyn.

We just had a very enjoyable stay with Denis and Carolyn the hosts at the beautiful Beechwood House. Our room, aptly named The Jardin was warm with a very comfortable bed, a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast and a spacious ensuite. We have visited Beechworth several times and this is the best albeit a little further out-of town. Whatever you do don’t miss the excellent dinner cooked by Denis and served in a lovely old kitchen/dining area. We also had a beautiful breakfast brought to our room. We will definitely stay there again next time we are visiting. Thanks Carolyn and Denis

Wonderful stay, attentive, and friendly host. Had a fantastic evening meal cooked for us one evening of our stay by the host, an experienced and excellent French chef.

We had a delightful stay with Dennis and Carolyn. The place is so beautifully appointed and thoughtfully decorated. We were privileged to enjoy the decadent French cooking for both breakfast and dinner, and we were given the impression that nothing was ever too much trouble. It is so wonderful to feel welcomed by two hospitable hosts who perfectly balance respect for privacy if one desires or a hearty chat if preferred. 5 out of 5!!
