Called in on Monday with a support inquiry, phone service sent me to the wrong department so the guy opened a case for me and said they'd be in touch soon. 24 hours later, still no contact. No phone call, no email confirmation. Decide to contact support again at 4:00 PM and I'm on hold for over an hour. Looks like I missed calling hours since I was on hold well past their opening hours. Support service is appalling considering I just dropped 1k on one of their cameras.

Do Not Use the 13 13 83 Contact CentreI placed a phone call 08.59 ADST and spoke with Francis in the Manilla, PH Office just to ask the most simple of questions regarding a suitable replacement for the current obsolete model. He advised the process was to provide contact number and he would contact me back within 30 - 60 mins.It is now 13.45 ADST, I rang the Contact Centre to ask why Francis hadn't returned my call only to have Denzel (!?) advise it has been passed on to the Escalation Team. When I asked why, he said they couldn't advise me what the next possible replacement for the obsolete model was and had to have a specialist contact me back. When I confirmed that there were only 2 models on their website that could be deemed suitable replacements he advised he couldn't help me and he would ring me back within 30 - 60 mins.I don't know why these Australian Companies think that outsourcing their Call Centres to overseas groups is a good thing.

Terrible phone experience. Called up today, 16/04/18 asking for base quote to just do a general service and inspection of my Canon lens and 5D MK IV camera. The phone representative had the worst professional etiquette. Did not understand what I was asking, I had to keep repeating myself and at the end of the call she just hung up on me.Thanks, great service after people have spent $10K above on your products.

Overall I am very happy with the service provided. The lady at the counter was very attentive, understanding. The repair service was prompt and efficient. I just wish off-shore call centres would be a thing of the past.

Very very poor service. No contact number to talk to someone directly at head office in Sydney. All numbers go to philippines. Was on phone for nearly an hour. My camera is only 4 years old and needs a new lcd screen. Ordered it directly from Cannon and was notified that it was avaliable and would arrive in approx 4 weeks. Spent $160 on other minor repairs in anticipation of receiving the lcd screen and waited 4 weeks before following up with Cannon who then advised that they no longer make the screens. Will never buy anything Cannon again.

I get helpful advice each time I call Canon Australia when I first got in touch with them between 2017-2018. However recently, 2 years later, I've been getting horrible telecommunications issues talking to call center agents in the Philippines. Issues like agents line breaking up making it unpleasant and difficult to understand them. I brought up this breaking up line issue with them and told them it only happens with Canon Australia and no other company. I advised them to call me but the line breaking up still occurs.Please get this fixed.
