A guy there helped me out with diagnostics for a good price when I didn't have the money to gamble on doing an auto for the hell of it. So I wouldn't hesitate to get them to carry out service or repairs/overhaul if need be. There aren't too many guys in the transmission side of the trade who I would run auto trans problems by and expect a straight forward answer...

Highly recommend gearbox solutions. After many failed attempts with other companies I called this place and josh was so helpful with amazing customer service. I had my gearbox replaced in no time… Good team!

Gearbox Solutions did a FANTASTIC & PROFESSIONAL job repairing my Range Rover Sport V8 and for an excellent price.I rate these guys as triple A (AAA).My car was making a grinding and knocking noise so I took it my usual mechanic who looks after my cars, he advised me that the transfer case needs replacing and would cost somewhere between $4500 for a second hand one and $11,000 for a new one. I suspected that he hadn't checked my car properly and that he was trying to rip me off. I have now sacked him.So I contacted Josh at Gearbox Solutions who had fixed a previous Range Rover I owned and did a great gearbox rebuild on that car at the time.Anyhow cut a long story short Josh and the great team at Gearbox Solutions found that the transfer case was in good condition and the problem was the tail shaft supports had snapped and damaged the internals of the tail shaft. The repair cost me $2400 to install a new genuine Range Rover tail shaft and they did a full gearbox service.If the transfer case needed replacing then Gearbox Solutions would have charge me $2800 for a reconditioned one not $11,000 like my old mechanic was quoting!My advice is take your car to the specialists at Gearbox Solutions when it comes to Gearbox, diffs, tail shafts & driveshafts, these guys are great at their job and are accurate at finding the problems your car may have.It is a pleasure to deal with them, they fixed my car in 3 business days.I recommend them highly.Regards,John.

This work place is very good, I have seen some reviews that Gearbox solutions are charging them extra by saying wrong information but that is all wrong. Usually Auto mechanic places charge minimum 100 for diagnosing car but they have diagnosed my car and charged nothing and said there is no problem with my transmission and there is a problem with oxygen sensor and knock sensor.

Whilst on a trip to Sydney from Moruya,my car suffered a gearbox problem.Being from out of town I made a few calls to try and get the car diagnosed.Brayden was super helpful and took a professional approach to my problem.The team at Gearbox Solutions come highly recommended with old school service and knowhow.Regards Darrell.

Where do I start. Josh from Gearbox solutions was so professional, friendly and honest. Hard to find in this industry. I took my car here to get a 2nd opinion as I was told i needed a clutch replacement. Josh did a thorough diagnostics on it and found that it wasn't my clutches. I need a gearbox. So glad I took my car here. Josh was amazing throughout the whole process. Keep up the great work you do!

Gearbox Solutions did a great job fixing a shudder in my transmission, which required a transmission service. Customer service was excellent. I have updated my review to show the following brilliant customer service by Josh. After bringing the car home, I found slight damage to the bumper bar, not major, but there were no arguments. They offered to have it repaired. Thanks again for proving there are honest businesses out there

Couldn't have taken it to a better place to get my transmission fixed. They had great customer service and went out of their way to fix my car immediately. I was expecting weeks to get it back and they had my car back to me the next day for a third of the price I was quoted from other mechanic. I would highly recommend brad and Josh at Gearbox Solutions they go above and beyond for their customers.
