My phone died on Friday and I couldn't do anything. Went in to store and got on to a gentleman named Essam. He absolutely saved the day, he thought outside the box on how to help me, he went through my plan and found he could save me money, he didn't want me stuck with no phone and no access to money as I did not have my bank card on me, so he went through the best options with me. He was actually invested in my best interests and situations and put me before anything. The option that suited me best was buy a cheap phone, and order the new s23 as it was due very soon. Honestly could not be more thankful to Essam. I wanted to give him money for helping me but he did not accept it. So I ask the bosses of Telstra to please thank Essam and reward him some how because he deserves it.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. The lady who “helped” us not only didn’t know how to fix our problem with her services she also was very disrespectful making faces every time I spoke. And the “gentleman” trying to help? He was just saying we can’t to anything. Your SIM card is ours but we can’t fix your problem that data doesn’t work.

Arrived to the store at 3.40pm, twenty minutes before closing and was told that they couldn’t replace my faulty headphones because it required ten minutes of time and they were supervising training. I’m a bit bewildered that there were five staff members present, four of which were completing training, on a public holiday. I already had authorisation from telstra and the product manufacturer to submit the product for replacement or refund. Ironically, the amount of time the staff member devoted to telling me it couldn’t be done was the amount of time needed to assist me.

Manish was brilliant the only one that could help my dad after so many attempts. While we were waiting with my family the boys Kanak and Hillol were awesome so friendly and helpful!! I live on Southside and will happily travel to see the boys at Gungahlin.They are the best!!

I have been with Telstra as a mobile service provider for well over a decade, and all it took was one interaction with the staff at this store to switch to another service provider.Possibly the worst and most awkward customer service I've ever received. Didn't feel valued as a customer, I felt more like an inconvenience for even walking in there.

Sitting in shop. 30 minute wait to buy something off the shelf. Wait is because staff are training" - some are standing around watching. That's the second time with extremely poor service in this T Shop. Staff says shop is "by appointment" - why have a shopfront selling items off the shelf if you only do appointments? Might as well close the door and put a sign up. I swear this shop is the worst."

I’ve never ever felt compelled to write a bad review based around wait times, wrong orders, mistakes, etc. Thing happens. But if you’re actively condescending and rude that’s not on..Sadly, what everyone else is saying is true. You’ll feel like an inconvenience by asking for assistance. At least I did. I felt quite insulted and irritated by the time I left the store.The Indian bloke beginning with the letter K. (He’ll know).I was made to wait, no big deal. I then asked for a $40 prepaid, he heard me wrong and brought a $30 one out. I said I asked for the $40 one and he proceeded to boarder-line argue with me about this so I left it.He was then condescending after I asked a general question about my sim card activation.Very passive aggressive.I’ve worked in customer service, I understand it can be dull or frustrating at times but it’s absolutely integral that you don’t take it out on customers.Maybe retail and customer service is just not for you mate.Also Telstra, maybe refresh the workers on their hygiene and customer service skills, it would probably go a long way.Service was fast though! So was glad to get out of there pretty quickly..

I purchased an iPhone 14 plus Saturday 21st January at Telstra Gungahlin. Service was excellent. Got home and nothing worked. I was extremely upset had a bad night. Went back to Gungahlin shop Sunday and was helped by a young man Manish. It was a long process but he was kind thoughtful. Let me know what was happening the whole time. Manish you’re an excellent asset for Telstra. Thankyou N Coble.

An unfortunate duopoly if telecommunications services in Australia means many people are stuck with Telstra as the good option if you need decent connectivity. In my experience, salespeople employed at this shop show little moral and ethical traits, omitting key information from their sales pitch. I'll probably buy from Telstra again, but where else are you really going to go?
