Exceptionally POOR ServiceI contacted the Parravans Service Team (spoke to Michael) on 5 Oct 21 to book our caravan in for a service + repairs. The service was arranged for the week of 22 Nov 21, giving Parravans Caravan World a whole 6 weeks’ time to arrange what was needed for the appointment. I also provided Michael with a full copy of my (warranty claim + contact details + photos of the repairs needed) to enable them to provide a quote for the planned repairs. On booking in our caravan, Michael personally assured me that he would get the quote done himself as they had a good business relationship with both Shae (Green RV) and Amber Jane(Regent). He said doing this is a day to day thing for them.Over the following weeks I heard nothing back and tried to check in with Michael by phone (3 x calls over the 6 weeks) and by e-mail ( 2 x over the 6 weeks). When I called the response from staff was always the same. It was: “they are very busy” “have you e-mailed them? “only they can help you with this” “you will have to try them again” “sorry, we can’t help”” please try again sorry no one is available".Finally on 19 Nov 21

Deadly Service – EXTREME NEGLIGENCE and INCOMPETENCEI shouldn't be giving a star, but I can't submit this post without one.My camper trailer was given a complete routine service by Parravans a couple of months ago. Apart from driving it back home from the service centre, it hasn't been used. It was driven for the first time yesterday. My husband and I sold the caravan to a gentleman from Victoria, even giving him the copy of the service record to show the van had been recently serviced and was in safe, road worthy condition.The result of this drive was very nearly catastrophic. Clearly the nuts had not been properly tightened on the wheels. One wheel flew off causing substantial damage to the underneath of the caravan, the legs have been damaged, hosing, mud flaps, connections etc. all bent, buckled or torn off. Sparks were flying everywhere as the bare metal ripped along the road.Inspection of the other wheel revealed the lugs on them were also insufficiently tightened. Luckily that wheel didn’t also fly off. Fortunately the van was unladen or the consequences could have been deadly. We were devastated to hear of and see the results of Parravans’ negligence. We couldn’t wait to hear how our much loved van was settling in with its new family. Instead, it was on the back of a tow truck, with luckily, no fatalities.Failure of the service centre to ensure the wheels were properly secured to the van is incomprehensible. After a complete service, you would believe that you were driving a van that had been completely inspected. We gave Parravans a safe, reliable Goldstream camper trailer to service. We had our caravan serviced in order to ensure it was road worthy and safe. We trusted them. Due to their actions, Parravans returned a potential death trap. This act of incredible incompetence and lack of care on such a critical area of safety, defies belief. The tyre that flew off could have caused a serious accident resulting in the deaths of others. The potential impact of what could have happened to the tow car and occupants are equally horrific.We are all innocent, unfortunate victims of Parravans complete incompetence and lack of care in their servicing of caravans. Their ‘oversight’ could have ended so much more badly than it did. This was not an ‘accident’ in was an EXTREME example of negligence and incompetence.Some service…. Some Service Centre...

Very grateful to the Parravan Windsor team in the very professional job they did in servicing my Austrack Tanami X15 recently.They also fixed a couple of warranty jobs, and installed a Carafan positive air pressuriser unit.This installation was really well executed from the location of the unit through to clean up.The interior of the van was spotless even after a 300mm square hole was cut in the vans roof.Full marks and our great appreciation to Steve, Michael and Maree for outstanding customer service and workmanship.Highly recommended.

Nothing is a bother so helpful, friendly,not pushy. They let you take your time in looking at the vans.

Make sure your getting what you paid for.We waited 9 months for our van to be built, was told a number of times it would be 6.....only for them to make changes to the van without notifying us. Make sure you ask for progress photos or you may get stuck with something you didn't want. It couldn't get rectified while sitting on the factory floor, we knew then and there what would happen if we needed a warranty job. We received our deposit back and ran for the hills.

I purchased a caravan from Parravans Caravan World on the 24 October 2021 for a total value of $36,900 AUD but I was never able to use it or take it out of the dealership. The reason, the 12 pin electric trailer socket of the caravan was broken. Parravans told me the problem was the electrical adapter in my car. I spent months struggling to fix the problem in my car only to find out later that the car's adapter was working fine. On the 19 January 2022 I went back to Parravans, they connected the caravan to other cars and realised the problem was in fact the 12 pin electric trailer socket in the caravan. At this point I was very upset with the whole situation so I asked for my money back, but the only offer I was given by Parravans was to buy the caravan back from me for $33,000. $3,900 less of what I initially paid. I accepted the offer as I was under pressure and desperate to get things sorted.I think I have the right to have all my money back and although I incurred in additional costs during these months, like car and caravan insurance, mechanics, and additional accessories for the caravan and the trip I never did, I'm only asking for the $3,900 I lost while reselling the caravan to them.I reported my issue to the ACCC and they advised me to attempt to resolve the issue directly with Parravans before escalating it. I contacted Parravans by email on the 22 November 2022 but I never received an answer. I'm hoping to solve this issue after posting this complaint, otherwise I will have to lodge a formal complaint with NSW Fair Trading.

Bought our River van new from them and have had work done through warranty, service and insurance (oops! )Can not fault the service crew led by Wes who is such a gentleman. Nothing is a trouble.No quibbling over anything under warranty all fixed without question.Buying from them was a great experience. Good advice and guidance as we navigated changes to our van.All we needed in the shop , accessories etc, and well priced.All staff obliging and professional.Out River van is fabulous!
