I've been trying all the different nail salons over the years in Burwood and always come back to this one. (The other decent one but don't find that the setup as easy for a mani+pedi is the Dermalogica skin care shop in Westfields Burwood).I find you have to be specific with the ladies and tell them exactly what you want (they won't know and lack that part in their service). Shellac mani + pedi is $65 (you can get a loyalty card discount of 10% on your 4th visit). It may be $5 extra to remove previous other places polish.I tried out their lash extensions as well last week and compared to other places in the city, the lashes are still on after 2 weeks so happy with them. I selected the $90 lash extension as I wanted the thicker option. The other was $75 for a 'natural' look.It's my local nail place and will be back there again as they have new shellac colour options!

The absolute worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had! It doesn’t even deserve one star.I’ve been going to this salon for years, well before it was Paddo Nails & Beauty. The original owners were so fantastic and it was a really fun place to be for an hour or so once every couple of weeks. Then Paddo took over and for a while (and before the Parramatta store opened) the owner was usually at Burwood and it was quite ok, although a little inconsistent. But now.... it’s almost like the girls don’t want anybody there at all. Everything is inconvenient, nobody smiles or even acknowledges your requests, questions and queries. Newsflash ladies........without customers, you wouldn’t have a job. They just start working (badly) and totally ignore what you, the customer, want or need. I went in on December 21, 2018 (the morning I was leaving for a 4 week holiday) for a manicure and pedicure and a woman (I think the manager because she seemed to spend a lot of time giving instructions to the other girls) was so incredible incompetent that I needed to have 3 nails redone (by someone else cause she just walked away after she was done) while another girl was doing my pedicure. After I left and got out into the sun I notice that my thumb nail was very rough so I went back in and asked politely if she could “ please” redo the nail. Well....I was abused! She yelled at me saying that I should have checked my nails and it was my fault that I didn’t check my nails before l left the salon. She went on and on, acting like a crazy person and when I argued with her, she told me to “ no come back here ever again”. Nice! She did the wrong thing and then yelled at me. I refused to leave until the nail was fixed which made her even crazier and I proceeded to sit there for about 20 minutes waiting for someone to fix my nail. When I asked her why I should be doing her job by checking my own nails she started yelling again. I also told her that I didn’t ask other people to do my job for me so why should she expect someone else to do her job for her and that checking the quality of the manicure and pedicure (that she did) was part of her job. I also told her that if there were different standards of work then there should be different prices ranging from “terrible to excellent”. The entire salon was quiet while she (and I) carried on, it was ridiculous. I rang the Parramatta salon to speak to the owner and the girl that answered the phone hung up on me, which is just unbelievable. So finally, she fixed my nail and they looked ridiculous because 4 nails were darker because they now had 3 coats of Shellack and the 6 nails only had 2 coats. I had a plane to catch, so didn’t have time to argue any further but really the colour should have been removed and redone. The whole episode was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. At one point I started to laugh and then looked around me at the other customers and realised that they too were either laughing or trying to not laugh at the antics of this woman. What a waste of money and time!To the woman who did my nails (I’m sure you know who I am) -Find a job you enjoy and you are actually good at, because you are terrible at doing nails!Learn how to speak to other people.Wipe that sour look off your face, because you look like you’ve been sucking on lemons.To the owner -You always told me and my 2 daughters (who also have also been unhappy lately) that if we weren’t completely satisfied we should always come back and you would fix it, so what has happened to your salon and your service?Who is that sour faced woman working in your salon?There are many nail salons in Burwood, so if you want our business at Paddo you need to give us what we pay for and that doesn’t include sour faced and aggressive service or the CUTOMER checking the quality of your work.

Best value! Got infills with gems on some of my nails for $59. She was really patient with me choosing my colours as well as my nail designs. Both times I’ve been, they were welcoming and did a great job :) Thank you!

Absolutely disgusted in their service. Very very rude. I asked for acrylic infill with normal color and 1 replacement nail. When it come to paying she told me $41 when it was $26 for infill and $3 replacement. So I asked why so much and she told me they put shellac on and $5 for replacement. When I corrected her on the price she charged me $5 for taking shellac off l said no I don't want color off because you stuffed up on my service. Than I noticed it's minimum $40 to use eftpos machine. I went off so in the end charged me $1 more to use machine and $34 for what I wanted!NEVER WILL I GO THERR AGAIN!! RUDE SERVICE!!

My sister asked for infills and one nail replacement . They asked her did she want shellac. She's explained she didn't. They asked her to pick a colour.They then process and do her nails. Then comes to pay. And they try to overcharge more then what the sign out the window said. for example advertised on their window $3 for nail replacement and inside the lady was like it's $5 for nail replacement. And they explained reason for high price is cause of this and that. And shellac. She didn't ask for extra this and that or shellac as we know what's more $$ . Point is. Won't go there again..

I suggest going to the salon early as it gets packed on the weekends. I recently got my eyelash extensions done here and I love them. The process was not painful at all and you have the option of having them natural or thick. My eyes were not red at all afterwards compared to other places my friends have been to. Overall, I would go back again and would recommend it to anyone else who wants their lashes done.

EDIT: Have to change my review from 5 to 1 star as the service has gone down DRASTICALLY. Because I had been a regular for so many years, i overlooked their poor practices for so long but the last time was the last straw. They always say they have time to do it right now and make you wait 30 mins in the chair instead of asking you to come back later. In attempts to multitask between customers my nails were soaking in acetone for another 30 mins. Then while changing ladies from removing acrylic to one applying acrylic, there's another long wait. They're rough with the e-files & no longer have the care for attention & customers that they used to.Always a good experience here! Been coming here for 2 yearsish and have recommended plenty of people here. Was pretty surprised when I saw their rating but seems like it's mainly for waxes & I come here for acrylics. They are patient, efficient, know their craft and are open to requests from customers. They're also extremely reasonably priced for the good work they do!

Had been going there for about a year and a half. Went every week for lashes due to conveneince from my work. I noticed for about 2 months my lashes were coming out a lot quicker then normal (I'm speaking within 3 days, over half was gone). When I discussed with them, they were extremely rude!! I went every week for a year and would not be understanding and would not offer to fix it up for infill prices..considering how often I go!! Because they wouldn't give a$10 discount on a committed customer, they have lost a customer who came in weekly and spent $50

Asked them to remove acrylic nails by filing down and soaking off, they said ‘yeah yeah yeah’ and proceeded to pick off each one using another nail tip, ripping most off my nail tips and damaging them. I could’ve ripped my own acrylic nails off if I wanted to. They ignored my request and continued to say picking them off was better - more like easier for them. Never again.
