Great Northern Cafe
A breath of fresh air on a long, dusty journey. Excellent coffee, fresh food, all at a great price. Just make sure you buy something if you expect to use the toilet.

Had two steak burgers and some coffees and they were delicious. The owner was super friendly and provided great service. Take away only at the moment due to covid restrictions but well worth the stop, help a local business struggling with covid.

Little oasis of brilliant coffee. Soy milk mocha and normal milk mocha that were both the best we've had since Brisbane.Do yourself a favour and call in :)

I’ve been here twice now. The first time we had an egg and bacon toasted sandwich. I did not have any expectations at all. What we got was delicious - great flavour and tasty ingredients. Excellent!Today we revisited and I had a coffee - it was decent - not technically wonderful, but the flavour was pleasant, it left a nice aftertaste and was enjoyable. Drinkable, let alone decent coffee is hard to find on the Cape. I’ll be back again tomorrow.

$6 cup of boiled water which resembled burnt coffee. We both tipped it out!Worst coffee in Queensland
