Exotic Timber Slabs
Lee Franks has more experience with timber and woodworking then I have with breathing! He has a great selection of timber slabs and is happy to be as involved as you want with your project.My wife and I built a resin table using a slab from Exotic Timber Slabs and we could not be happier with the result. We had the slab machined flat by Lee at his workshop and he also gave us invaluable advice on the finishing process. We had Lee apply a polyurethane finish to ensure we got profession looking finish.His work speaks for itself, see attached photos.

Lee was very knowledgeable and had all the tools to help us custom make some bench tops for our school. The kids will come back to watch him at work again in the future. Excuse the mess in the photos but the benches are being put to good use daily.

I would recommend Lee to anyone looking for a beautiful custom piece of furniture. I have now purchased three, one off custom designs from Lee and he never ceases to impress. Lee can create elegant finishes on all kinds of timbers with amazing techniques that I have never seen before in my life. Every visit to his workshop is an absolute pleasure, his pieces are fine works of art that will last generations.

Lee’s expertise is second to none. I have used Lee for multiple jobs while constructing our mobile bar. His craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. With more machines and tools than Bunnings there is no job to big or small. Turn around times are also fantastic. Highly recommend Lee’s work
