Very expensive and wasn't informed when my clothes were ready. Was charged $118 for a simple hemming of 3 pairs of pants. Was told I would be contacted when they were ready, waited 2 weeks with no word, ended up ringing and was told oh yeah they've been ready for ages, our texting system doesn't work sometimes (if you know that why rely on it?). Will not be going back.

Great service - definitely recommend. Dropped in to have a press stud re-attached on a delicate knitted cape on Sunday afternoon and friendly lady did it by hand on the spot. I barely waited a couple of minutes. And she refused to charge me anything! Did a good job too. The whole cape is held together by the stud, which needed to needed to be stitched on very carefully with strong thread as you pull on the fabric to separate the parts of the press stud. Couldn’t fault her handiwork - used good strong thread and her quality stitching is easily withstanding the pulling.

Although I have no issue with the work that was done on my suit I had my tie in the suit holder with all my other garments that went with it I came past to pick it up today and asked about it only to be told they wouldn’t have removed it and to look if it was at my house. Very frustrating and another expense I had to go buy another tie. Won’t be using this place again as there was not really any care ownership for the issue.

I am a regular customer of Looksmart Alterations. Paulette is wonderful and I can confidently leave any precious clothes with her and know that the results will always be exactly what I wanted. She will also make suggestion if what I am asking for may not have the result I am after.

They did an excellent job of cleaning some stains on two garments and also repairing a difficult tear. Expensive, but great outcomes.

I got a pair of pants taken up about 2 weeks ago. I picked them up last week, only to find the back of each leg was longer than the front. I took them back and picked them up again yesterday. This time one leg was shorter than the other! The woman I dealt with on the second occasion was very blasé and didn’t apologise. I asked for my money back, referring to the plaque behind her that stated “100% money back guarantee”. She consulted her manager and told me I could only get a 50% refund due to the extra work required by their staff to fix the pants. I told her that the extra work would not be required if the job had been done correctly the first time. The store manager was working out the back the whole time and didn’t even bother to come out and talk to me. My mother also found the manager rude when she dealt with her a few weeks ago, so much so she changed her mind before the manager had finished pinning up her pants. We definitely won’t be going back.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could! .... Absolutely RUDE! I have never come across a business establishment that provides service, as rude and belligerent as this one! The manager is so rude and unpleasant! She apparently DOES NOT WANT repeat customers, and doesn't care about pushing away customers and getting bad reviews like this one! She really doesn't care that her behavior affects not only Looksmart alterations'" reputation everywhere
