The best energy provider out there.Raised a request for energy and gas transfer around a month and a half back.3 online cases and 3 call follow ups and 1.5 month later: guess what; the gas has still not been transferred. I would honestly rate a negative star if possible.Honestly waiting to see how long a gas transfer can take.Hoping to be the customer with the longest waiting period......

Simply Energy - This company deserves zero stars.I have spent 3 hours on the phone over 2 days just to change my 82yo mothers energy plan.On the first call which was recorded the consultant asked my mum to identify herself and confirm that she wanted me to act for her.I was then transferred to another consultant who then wanted me to go through the same process.After 1-1/2 hours on the phone out of frustration I made a complaint to the ombudsman.2 days later the customer care team phoned me and said that I could not change the plan without a financial power of attorney so I scanned and emailed it.I phoned again to change the plan and after another hour on the phone and despite having the power of attorney document they then wanted further id from my mum in the form of an Medicare card or drivers license.All we wanted to do was lower her electricity rate from .70c per KwH to .30c per KwHWith the rising cost on energy companies like Simply should be making it easier to change plan.

Have been with Globird energy for a while and suddenly realise my account is being inactivated. Call the company and been told that Simplyenergy somehow made a mistake “ accidentally “ in transferring my account from Globird to Simplyenergy without my knowledge. How dodgy can it be? Never been in touch or interested about simplyenergy and only remember vaguely receiving a letter from them about the energy deal. If I am being serious I can go on to sue them for falsify my account with another dealer.

Much like everyone else, my experience with this company lead to electricity disconnection in the middle of a move, despite repeated prior calls to correct an incorrect date. I'd expand further but I SIMPLY don't have the ENERGY. Utterly incompetent, avoid if you can.

Terrible service - no training, no understanding of Australian laws and no visibility on case files. Not to mention it takes over an hour to reach them on any given day and even then, they can't access files or even send a confirmation email about what was discussed! So many issues, so much wasted time: and no, they aren't cheaper than other providers - they just gave a lower price to Compare-The-Market services then charge whatever they like.

Would rate a zero if I could. Decided to transfer to simply energy 3 months ago. What a shambles! Multiple cases raised, multiple phone calls and no resolution. What a waste of my time. Cannot wait to transfer once this is resolved.

I had 'always' had pleasant dealingswith Simply over a vast spance of time as my retailer, however, as a result of a mix up with Final meter readings" vs "switching OFF the gas and electricity" I was put in a position that I've NEVER had with a business or group of people that where so incompetent

I am still waiting for someone to contact me to arrange to check my energy meter as I am being charged huge amounts for a house with no one in it . All I get is promises they will be in touch and a new case number each time and then nothing happens at all ….terrible “customer “ service

I am with simply energy from 5-6years. I am paying my bill on time. But now when i need the them to fix my gas pressure from there end. They are useless. Do not connect your utilities with these sumply energy otherwise you will be disappointed.

I cancelled my account last May they even charged me a disconnection fee but I still receive Invoices from them till date. They never cancelled my account and keep charging for a connection that I cancelled. Don’t get their services they will charge you for rest of your life.
