This place is stunning. Such a cool vibe, great drink choices, supreme food choices with a menu that constantly evolves depending on what's in season. Then you have people like Marko that makes your experience that much better. You feel like you're at a mates place having the best time. And then you leave paying a lot less than what you would in Fitzroy etc... For a better experience

Second time we have dined here and happy to report that the whole food and service experience is still fabulous. One of our favourite local places tbh. Quality food and menu with tapas style share plates.

Waiting times and price to portion ratio might have you... Tapas out.Casual dining, no bookings taken unless you're a group of at least 5. Most seating is bar style. It's also quite dark.Food comes out one dish at a time at a slow pace. Small portions because they're tapas, however prices are almost like mid range meals ($10-$20). They add up pretty quick! Quality and taste is quite good. The carrots with almonds and maple butter were my favourite.Service is attentive. Just a lot of waiting for food.

Very cute little joint in Reservoir serving delicious food and drinks. Restaurant was buzzing with people even at 8:30pm at night.Good selection of foods on an ever rotating menu board, everything was delicious and we left each plate completely empty and clean!Dishes are somewhat on the smaller side for what we would have expected given the price, however we could not fault the taste and texture at all. Split pea dip was our highlight and would come again just to order it take away.

Had a great time at La Pinta for a friend’s birthday. Large table at the back was ideal for a celebration. Set menu was mostly seafood dishes - all tasty and fresh. Friendly staff and service. Would recommend.

$55 doesn’t get you far these days, but not at La Pinta. For $55pp you get a four course meal—starting from housemade sourdough bread to their iconic basque cheesecake.Key highlights were the eggplant with molasses, mussels with tomatoes, lamb tartare, lamb heart, and pork with fig. All the dishes were packed with flavour. Generous portion sizes for a set menu. There was a bit of time in between dishes but they were under the pump even for a weeknight, so it was understandable.Highly recommend visiting if you haven’t already! A Reservoir staple without inner city prices.

Friendly and relaxed vibe in this local gem of a place. Mediterranean gastrobar atmosphere with all the attributes. Delicious plates designed for sharing with yourself or otherwise. Upbeat wine. Absolutely on point in all departments. Glad to have them in my neighbourhood.

Great vibe, super friendly chill service, quality food. Food does take longer to come out so I wouldn’t expect a super quick one, it’s more to chill and relax with great food. Do yourself a favour and order extra sour dough
