Noodle Village

Very frustrating and disappointing experience. We ended up paying double for the pathetic service. We were returning to Melbourne from Adelaide and stopped at Horsham around 7pm to have our dinner, we drove down to Noodle Village. Firstly we waited for an hour to get our order. We had ordered Singaporean Fried Noodles with only chicken and veggies and Singapore Seafood Noodles. After waiting for an hour and constant followups when we already informed staff that we are driving fromAdelaide and need to reach Melbourne on time, we got our order wrong instead of Singaporean Fried Noodles with chicken and Veggies we got Steam Rice with mixed meat and veggies, we returned that saying it’s not our order and we won’t be eating that. They then said we will make your correct order and after waiting for few more minutes, it did not look our order will arrive anytime soon and we just told them that we don’t need our order and we are leaving, the girl said sorry however did not even asked us to wait back for few minutes for our order or even talked about refunding our money.

This is one of the few shops that open till later and the food was decent and price point was great.This joint is more of a take away joint and not so much a place to dine in although if you wish you can definitely eat in as there are tables and chairs available.

Sweet and sour sauce was just watered down tomato sauce.Lemon sauce was watered down lemon cordialOverall a horrible feed and a complete waste of money. I hope the owner sees this and puts more effort into creating decent food.

We ordered the nasi goreng and black pepper noodles. The nasi goreng was very average, the black pepper noodles had next to no pepper and were the most bland noodles we’ve ever ordered from an Asian store.Prices were average for the type of food. Also note the shop takes cash only.Potion sizes were good, however the lack of flavour was extremely disappointing.

Curry laksa. Zero taste. Poor ingredients. Probably worst I’ve tasted (ie no taste) in a long time.

Looked as the woks weren't cleaned. Horrible smokey flavour in garlic prawns and an aussie dish. Noodles slimey, prawns you can tell been frozen for too long. Only beans in dishes?No flavour, don't recommend them unless you like thsoe things.

Went because other Chinese shops were closed, I regret it, i was overcharged and didn’t get the prawn crackers I asked for even though I asked to confirm they were in the bag and he said yes. The beef he was cooking with was brown before cooking from being left out in the open so long, fried rice was grey but not as bad as the black bean beef, never coming back terrible food terrible service and cash only

Quick service yummy food well worth the stop . Good price

Cash only is the biggest black mark against it, no EFTPOS. Otherwise all good.
