We engaged Pablo to design a renovation for our 1930’s home. Whereas the traditional big builders came up with standard designs, Pablo presented something fresh and vibrant.We wanted three things. Get winter light into the living areas (they were south east facing), bring the outside inside (in particular the pool and entertainment area), and make the most of the views (we live on the side of a hill with views across suburbia to the darling ranges). Pablo came up trumps on all three.His 3D drawings allowed us to experience and visualise the design at different times of the year and become comfortable prior to committing to a final design.Once the design was locked in, we needed a builder. Pablo made the choice easier as he’s both architect and registered builder. We decided Pablo would be best to complete the build.Pablo has a fantastic eye for interior design and helped us with the selection of materials, fittings, and colours.The build, from signing the contract through to handover, took no longer than four months.The result was stunning. The already high ceilings now extend 4.5 metres to let winter sun stream into our previously dark living area. In summer, the ceiling height powered louvres remove heat to keep the home cool.We’ve been living in the house for eight months and everyday we remark on how much we love living here.Thanks Pablo.
