Hamish Glen Hunter resort

Hopeless owner...Charge me extra $650 for nothing...He was blaming that I have left the house messy instead I cleaned much better then when I arrived. I had to clean the swimming pool by myself as there were dead cockroaches and dead other insects in the water.. pool side tiles were broken and one of my kid got hurt badly still I didn't complained and then he was charging me extra for cot was bad when my kids doesn't even fit in the cot and didn't even touch the cot...Please Please Please do not hire this property as owner is hopeless and doesn't even know how to deal with travellers....They just say nice things to you and charge you fortune for nothing. He doesn't even tell you and take it off from your credit card....A BIG NO TO THIS PROPERTY.

This is the best family holiday we have ever had. Hands down! Amazing owners who strive to make everything perfect. Huge sprawling home that somehow still feels cosy. Fire pit, resort style pool and a basketball court, huge safe ingournd trampoline for kids. HIGHLY Recommend!!The kitchen is clean and freshly renovated. Hot tub for 4 people ( or 6 kids ) in the main bathroom. The rooms are luxurious and fun! TV's in every room with Netflix, Stan, Foxtel, PS4 with games for the kids.Can't say enough good about this wonderful home away from home.We will be there every year.

WHAT A PLACE TO STAY!!!!!! Absolutely stunning. We brought the whole family there with the kids - Amazing to get out of the city and our kids even got see kangaroos on the property. The entire home was decorated beautifully and was spotless. The owner Mike was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We felt like we were at home. WHAT A POOL WOW!!!!!

Please spend at least one hour to take photos of each and every corner of property as soon as you arrive here, because you will have nothing to prove that you did not cause damages if you do not have evidence and have to pay what ever is charged.The sofas were itchy and smelling, Blankets were dirty,Moreover when we arrived, we saw the pool guy and he said that we can not use pool as it was leaking. So the pool was not cleaned as well.When sent message to owner he replied that don’t worry about leaking you just use it. We had to use dirty pool with lots of insects inside. The flooring around pool were broken hence it was dangerous specially for kids.Not worth spending so much money for this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hamish Glen Hunter. I went with a group of family and friends and it was the perfect setting for a weekend away. The facilities are exceptional - plenty to keep kids and adults entertained. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The owner was super friendly and quick to respond, he made the booking process really straightforward. All in all, it was brilliant stay and highly recommend it. Will definitely be back!

We have had the pleasure of staying at Hamish Glen a number of times now with up to four families for a weekend away. The home is world class. The facilities are phenomenal - I'm talking roll away deck with jacuzzi, resort inspired pool with tiki hut, no expense spared on furniture, bedding etc, not to mention the half court out the back and stunning wildlife. We even saw a wild koala on one trip!!! The kitchen is enormous and catering is a breeze. If you're looking for a large family gathering thats just 2 hours from Sydney, then look no further. Hosts are faultless, hospitable, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We can't wait to be back! :)

My family and I had an incredible stay at Hamish Glen, the house has everything you could need for a fantastic trip away.The pool is amazing, with a slide and a swim up bar (have never seen that at a private rental before!). The pool table kept us entertained for hours as well.There is so much space both outdoors and in, so everyone can have some down time when needed.Communication from the owner was very friendly and easy, any questions we had were quickly responded to.By far one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed at.Would not hesitate to book here again!

Looooooooved this place :) Owners were so cool and helpful, even recommending where we buy the best meat from for a BBQ haha! THe place was fully stocked with clean towels, kitchen utensils, appliances, bedding options etc, we were amazed. We had a mate's 40th there and it was the best. Privacy in the fresh country air, but with the stylings of a full-blown resort. Basketball court, pool, bar, pool table, TVs with playstations - The place has everything haha. Loved it. Keen to go back with the family and have a totally different type of vacay. So good, just gotta do it!

What a place!! its spacious, clean and beautifully presented. There is something to do for the whole family and enough space to bring your whole family. A comfortable lounge to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and the pool is refreshing and clean and so much fun for the kids. Every room was immaculate and every bathroom was sparkling clean. It was an absolute delight leaving the city behind and checking into this divine home. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The local town has everything you need is only a 5 min drive. Cant wait to stay again!!!

Hopeless Owner ......house was already smelly, specially one of the sofa in entertainment room was not clean and can smell vomit. We had to spend time cleaning swimming pool, and pool table, they can check camera if they want. Also floor was broken at pool area, stairs area. After all this courtesy level was zero to communicate but used tactics to threaten to affect guest rating. Spend 5k for two nights, not complaining about price but expect a bit of professionalism instead of threatening tactics.
