This is a good op shop. Lots of variety, decent prices, huge, nice staff, only issue is some of the items are sold at retail price

Great, helpful staff with a wide selection of assorted items for sale. We nabbed a fully decorated Christmas tree for only $12 which was great. Little to no wait in line and no line outside, which made for a quick and easy visit!

After buying items, asked if there was a bathroom I could use. Man at checkout said there was one in the back through the sorting area which I could use upon request. Staff at the back immediately told me they “only let children use the bathroom, not adults like you” with no apology. I’m 17F.

Wow... my partner made the mistake of taking some lovely things in here today that we felt should be passed on to someone else to enjoy, only to be met with absolute outright hostility. The woman snapped at him when he asked where he should leave the bags he had taken in, and then gave him a right spanking, by way of telling him they were full of donations and not taking anymore... yes, this happened - IN A BUSINESS SET UP TO GIVE TO PEOPLE BY WAY OF DONATIONS! Note to self: there are plenty of lovely and genuinely philanthropic organisations that are actually happy to take donations, without issuing six of the best to those bringing them in.

Staff are very rude specially the chinese looking lady. They’re pretty racist with asian customers and they will reprimand your kids if they’re noisy (first of all kids are kids! Put a notice in your door if you don’t want noisy kids! It’s a store not a library!). Well stocked store but the staff gives it a bad rap.

This store has lots to choose from and most of it is in very good condition. It's definitely worth a visit. I spent a long time in there and was able to find a number of items that were well worth buying. The staff are very helpful too and please people - when you review these places,, remember that the staff are volunteers. You can't expect a slick, corporate type service from people who are not getting paid and are mostly older people. So if you have to wait a bit, then just be patient and don't lash out and give poor reviews. After all, this is a charity doing very good work!

Not as big as the Moorabbin store and even though it's small, this St Vincent de Paul Society store just opposite Malvern Railway Station, is an impressive op shop and well stocked. It offers a good selection of affordable pre-loved goods including women's (lots), men's (but limited) and children's clothing, shoes, kitchenware, glassware, artwork, and a huge and good selection of books.The staff is very friendly and helpful, and offers great service. Check out the photos and you'll see the range of goods in this store. It's a must visit op shop in Malvern. Highly recommended.
