Great to be in a place that's so quiet, 2 people camping. Watch were you camp winds can get abit extreme. Dam at 10% though s getting extremely lower.

Beautiful camping spot.Nicely isolated with a small town close by and good fishing and swimming waters. Great for waterspouts and relaxation.Be careful on the dirt roads, there are some holes around and I'm thinking the carpe fish have eaten almost everything else in the dam.Don't forget to slip, slop & slap!

Beautiful place to relax with family and clean facilities. Need to bring own water as only available at kiosk or tap water from the lake. Will be back again, and again

Great place for water sports. BYO water sport equipment. There can be a wait during busy times to get in. Entry fee is $15 per car or $10 per car if there is a person over 65 years of age in the car. Good BBQ facilities.Not many covered spaces.

Facilities were amazing for kids and families and very well maintained. Camping right on lake amazing views tucked away not too far off main road. Every Australian should visit, to appreciate what an amazing country we live in. Ideal breakaway from busy and noisy everyday life.

A nice place to spend time with family and child near Tamworth city. The lake area is huge but may appear dull in dry season. Still we got a variety of birds there. You can book cabin house to spend a night there. Lake activities include kayaking, fishing and sailing. Try to have an entry fee in cash with you!

Lake Keepit. It’s another big a*se dam in this big a*se country. Nothing that really differentiates it from Glenbawn, Chaffee, etc. I mean maybe the wildlife but I’m no ecologist or naturist so a roo is a roo, a wallaby is a wallaby. Cars don’t survive Roos but they usually survive wallaby attacks.I do have one gripe…since when were all our big dams and national parks privatised? I mean I wanted to check it out more but would have been charged a day rate to get a drink from a shop, disgraceful cash grab by the government and corporations.Anyway, here’s some photos.

Incredible place to be. 100% recommend for children and adults, super fun for everyone. Beautiful views, fabulous. Lake Keepit is an incredible experience, where you will make priceless memories.
