Sad to see the water drying up. But, still a lovely place to visit, relax, have a picnic, and enjoy nature.

Found a great loop walk. Park at the picnic area outside the caravan park. Then walk back along the foreshore footpath to the barbecue area at foreshore reserve. Cross the road and there is a footpath that cuts across the fields to the railway memorial. You can then walk back into town for a coffee at Cafe Sidra, before returning to the car.

Sad to see the lake drying up as its a lovely place to walk. Not alot of birdlike but has a bird watching hut, seating around the lake, toilets etc
