Great ride in from Rose River Road.Could do with a clean up the camp ground is getting beaten up. We exited via Cobbler Lake track the left onto Dan Buffalo Divide track to Abbeyard.

Absolutely fantastic camp ground. Only accessible by 4x4 but that is listed in all websites and maps so any reviews complaining about that are been silly. The drop toilet is one of the better ones I’ve seen. The lake is beautiful and great for a swim or fishing. Plenty of bush walking around and a short walk to some amazing waterfalls.

4x4 only to get to...but an amazing drive up and beautiful views of the area once there. Limited facilities at the top and beware that the tracks can be quite bad up and around.

A fantastic part of the Victorian high country. Have time to take the scenic walk. Go for a swim if youre keen. Good camping sites, generally quiet, drop toilet and a hut for shelter.

Not good for a standard 2wd car. Only try with 4wd. Not too much to do unless you want to fish or camp.
