Was here for lunch on a promotion $60 for 3 courses great value. Good attentive service. Food was presented beautifully in a timely manner. Entrees delicious however the mains were disappointing. 16 hour slow cooked Oyster Blade should not be on the menu. Such a cheap cut of meat to use at a winery, was extremely dry. It could have done with a gravy.or some type of sauce to accompany it. Perhaps at a winery like this they could offer a better choice of meat. Snapper was also very dry. Deserts were good. Over all a pleasant day at Rockford but they need to improve the quality of food. Ample parking, huge area outside too.

Had a lovely lunch for a birthday. The view was lovely, the restaurant is full of light from all the windows. Truly a beautiful place to dine. Staff were friendly but at times a bit slow. It costs $75 for a three course meal which seems reasonable for the quality and presentation of the dishes. The pork belly entree was nice but I really wish it had some pork crackle on it. Lamb shoulder was definitely the highlight, melting in your mouth and falling off the bone. The apple mousse dessert was the lowlight of the meal. By itself the cake was too burnt on top, but once put together with the mousse it was nice but I wouldn’t rush back for it. Still a lovely place for a winery lunch!

Janine was absolutely lovely guiding us through our wine tasting. First time here and we'll definitely come back. Make sure you check up the views upstairs. Very good wine and good prices. I bought 2 Shiraz wines that we loved.

First time at this Winery and it will not be my last time. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left it felt like a warm, friendly and relaxed place to be.The food was tasty, the set menu has great variety (unlike other wineries).It was one of my guest's birthday and they gave her a bottle for her bday.We then had wine and gin tasting sessions, Ben was our host. What an amazing guy. Down to earth, didn't treat us like peasants and didn't act posh.Gave us true advice and recommendations and all in all made our day.

As there were quite a few of us for the wine tasting, we had a room to ourselves. We were given 3 different wines to try. Lunch was good, and service was commendable. The beef blade was tender and tasty. Portion was generous. The restaurant was busy with many patrons having several birthday functions. Bookings are recommended for meals.

Did the Harvest Experience tour. Really informative guides that made you feel at home as a newbie. Seeing the back of house machinery and barrel stores was an eye opener. The meal that followed was exceptional and matched up with the wines from the vines we had just seen. A must do Yarra Valley destination.

Wedding review - Rochford was a lovely venue but unfortunately had a rollercoaster experience, soured by their priority for music events and festivals. Our org. date was given to another couple who were then cancelled as Rochford wanted a festival instead. During our ceremony all we could hear was sound check from their other venue despite assurance this would not occur. But the team were great with last minute changes with moving ceremony due to rain. The bridal table received no drink service during the reception, we had to beg multiple times to be served with no luck and had to keep going to the bar. Meal's excluding dessert were great - we had to opt for cake as our dessert as a result. The service for bridal party during photos was great and they brought out food and drinks for us. Overall, I think it’s a very very inexperienced team with staff who lacked training, hopefully it can be improved for other couples.

Let down by poor customer service from a rude waiter. Food was great and atmosphere was vibrant however experience was let down by a rude older short/bald waiter. Winged that we didn't know our table number when it came to pay like it was a big problem and was upset and frustrated that a gift card was being used and complained that the customer should know how to process it? Which made absolutely no sense. We all have hard days however this really dampened the experience..displaying a smile and being positive/ polite to paying customers shouldn't be too much to ask for. I hope management provides more training and feedback.
