Figbird Cottage

As a wedding planner, Figbird Cottage was a dream to work with. Their grounds are so versatile and their marquee is just beautiful. Everything is super easy to style which makes it a dream for couples looking to make a venue their own.Lisa worked really hard to make my couple's day come true. Especially when the grass got a bit flooded, she went out and bought hay and fairy lights to help absorb and fence off the extra flooded areas. The guests didn't even notice the fencing!Such a beautiful venue - highly recommend!

We recently had our wedding at Figbird cottage and loved it so much. Lisa was incredible to deal with and Mike did such a fantastic job setting everything up for us. I could not have asked for a better night and Lisa went above and beyond creating a magical indoor area for us due to the wet weather. They were so amazing to work with and I could not fault anything at all. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did and everyone commented on the gorgeous venue!

We had a perfect beautiful and memorable wedding. Lisa was so very helpful and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Everyone loved the venue and our guests who stayed in the cottage were also very happy! Thank you so much Lisa! I can't recommend Figbird enough! We are ecstatic with our choice! So glad we didn't do our wedding in Sydney!

We had an amazing time at Figbird cottage. The gardens are so beautiful and well kept, the cottages on sight are well equipped, we hired a lot of our items from the venue for the reception which was such a convenience. Lisa helped us at anytime we needed and talked us through the process and was very involved before and after, it is affordable and a beautiful venue all round. Lisa was also very accommodating to any request we may of had.

My partner and I recently got married here. A beautiful location run by wonderful and friendly people. Organising a wedding during covid was difficult but Lisa did everything she could to make it as easy as possible for us and helped us through every stage.

We had our wedding at Figbird Cottage in November 2022. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and fit our needs of wanting an outside wedding in a field/paddock and a marquee to hold our reception, however, we were extremely disappointed that after we had secured our final payment the way we were treated by the owner Lisa. We are very disappointed at the way we were treated with being asked to sign a new contract which included more payments then our initial contract 2 days prior to our wedding, we were restricted quite heavily to what we were and weren’t allowed to do as a DIY venue, we were required to move a significant amount of furniture from the Marquee into the Cottage and then after the ceremony had to move it again into the House due to there not being enough storage facilities provided. This was explained to us as our responsibility as we decided to hire furniture for the DIY venue and the owner hadn’t allowed for storage of this furniture. We were then required to move this furniture back into the marquee the day after the wedding. We also experienced the owner turning off water to the kitchens and not providing detergent to wash plates left by the caterers which had the cake and stated we would lose our deposit if this wasn’t done, however, wouldn’t turn the water back on for us to do so. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, however, the experience with the owner really dimmed our experience and as a result we probably wouldn’t recommend this venue which is very disappointing.

Figbird cottage is an absolutely stunning site, and it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The grounds were stunning, the accomodation beautiful (and so convenient) and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. You will be glad you booked this venue.

What a gorgeous little wedding venue....however there's plenty of open spaces too.When I married my couple there as a celebrant, the owners were amazing and so attentive to all the guests, a definite choice for your wedding with country charm.

Absolutely loved having our wedding at Figbird Cottage, such a stunning venue! Lisa looked after us incredibly well and was so flexible and supportive during rapidly changing covid restrictions! The accommodation is beautifully designed and provided ample space for our families and friends to celebrate the night before our wedding that made the weekend extra special! Couldn't recommend this wedding venue enough!

My husband and I got married at Figbird in April 2021.Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful and charming, but so is Lisa.Lisa made the lead up to the big day seamless and there was never anything that was too big an ask. She helped in everyway she could before and on the big day. Nothing was a problem and she was always calm, happy and accommodating.I would highly recommend this venue to any brides out there looking around. Lisa is very open and upfront about what is included, there are options for add-ons, local vendors are fantastic and the setting is just beautiful for a fun wedding. Outdoor areas give you loads to play with and the marquee is just what you would be looking for.Thank you Figbird for giving us such a memorable and special day :)Xx
