Ancora Weddings

Excellent coffee, bread delicious, view great. It is child and dog friendly. I made at home afterwards aFrench onion soup and used the French bread stick....I admit it was exceptional ...even if I do say so myself.

We had our wedding at Ancora a few months ago and were so incredibly happy with our day. From the very first point, up until the last hour, they looked after us and were so attentive. Their attention to detail was out of this world and every person we dealt with knew their stuff. Co-ordination on the day was an absolute breeze also. Guests raved about the service and food, and absolutely loved the atmosphere. We are so grateful for every person who assisted us and made our day so special. Thank you so much!

We had our reception at ancoraWe had a great time and the food and venue was beautiful.Communication throughout the lead up to our big day was great and they were flexible when we had some sudden changes due to guests being unable to attend due to a loss in their family.

Baked" or Ancora Weddings is a dual venue along the Tweed River in New South Wales (NSW) in Australia. There is ample parking but one should include the Queensland versus New South Wales time difference in summer.It is one of the best kept secrets of the Gold Coast. I cannot recommend Ancora highly enough! From the food to the beauty of the venue to the service on the day and the kindness and organisation of the staff in the lead up to the wedding everything was perfect! Our day was so magical and our guests can't stop raving about it! Thank you so much to the wonderful team who made the planning so seamless, I don't think I stressed at all, our coordinator Amy took care of everything for us & I will be forever grateful! Wish we could do our day all over again, thanks Ancora ❤️

We had such an amazing wedding at Ancora. The staff were absolutely amazing as well as the food and everyone apart of planning the day. Literally all of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to including the best food at a wedding they had ever had. The venue was beautiful, everything was just amazing there is not a single thing I can fault. The only thing that makes me sad is how fast it went! I wish I could do it all again! Thanks so much again!

I am so glad we chose to have our wedding at Ancora, the venue itself is beautiful especially being on the water you get a fantastic view, all of our guests had an incredible night here I wish we could re live this night again. Food was sensational, I was worried at first not knowing how much food there would be but was amazed at how much food there was. Everyone left with full stomachs that’s for sure. All of our guests said how delicious the food was - the only thing I could fault were the cold vegetables I know that’s how they are meant to be but I personally think vegetables should be warm to be enjoyed which most guests agreed, that was the only small let down. To conclude I would highly recommend having your wedding at Ancora, the communication from start to finish in the process of the planning was on point, the lovely coordinator/planner was so helpful and approachable at all times. Thankyou to the team for having us!

Lovely venue. Bright, fresh, sitting right on the tweed river giving uninterrupted views of the water, island and fish.Off street parking available. Grand entrance where you can be dropped off in front of family and friends.Food is great - cooked by a professional real chief. Waiters are very professional. Room to dance, veranda to sit on, bar, table services.Best of all- you have it all to yourself.Great spot for photos

Set up a Wedding cake.....very close to the water, nice large room......no Cake table though....

Unfortunately the comment from (Adrian Ind) doesn’t reflect on this business. He suffers from dementia and doesn’t understand what he’s doing! I’m his son! I feel so sorry for this company that he has done this! I have spoken to him and have tried to explain his actions but he doesn’t understand! I have also personally asked Google to remove the comment as a business owner myself I know of the importance of google reviews and the impact of negative reviews. If your reading this I hope you take this review into consideration!
