This has to be one of the best kept secrets in the City of Kwinana.I was invited here for Kwinana Connect and although a long way from home, was well worth the effort to visit.Thank you for your hospitality Mayor Carol and for the wonderful organising Denver and to Erin and the team at Inclusion Solutions for facilitating.I look forward to visiting again.

This is not just Smirk Cottage ...... the Heritage site also has the History of the Town of Kwinana Museum,....The Soldiers Cottage, part of The Peel resettlement. of servicemen. .....The Tool shed collection......Blacksmith shop....and gardens . If you havent been here before it is well worth a visit. Open 1st Sunday of the month......10am to 3pm.... Visits can be arranged for special groups.

ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME & EFFORT.GOT THERE @ 11AM.NOT OPENEDRANG THE RANGER WHO WAS LOVELY BUT AFTER MEETING HIM BACK AT SMIRKS COTTAGE IT WAS A NO GOER.ALL THAT WAY TO FIND THE BLOODY PLACE LOCKED UP!!!WEBSITE CLEARLY STATES IT WAS OPEN.CRICKETS!!!!UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR.I AM GOING TO SCREAM IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS.AND IF ANYONE DARE COMES BACK WITHoh...you know

Heaps of history we really enjoyed learning the back story of Kwinana lots of reading and many many photos was easy to find your way around but we would have loved a guided tour as we probably missed heaps of information ... and a mulberry tree in full fruit to boot. Volunteer operated and they are doing a fabulous job. My second time here and I learnt new stuff.
