Nice cold beer and an amazing Monday night special of 500g rump for $30 which due to circumstances I didn't have but sounds the standout bargain of Kalgoorlie. Lots of sports memorabilia for those who like it.

We only came for lunch but what a beautiful piece of history this pub is!! The internal staircase is absolutely stunning. The service was great and the food was fantastic, very generous servings. Loved it!!

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Went out for a dinner date and was NOT DISAPPOINTED!! the food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! We had an awesome waiter/manager by the name of Marty and he was absolutely fantastic! Thanks for a great meal and evening!

Beautful hotel. Taken lots of pictures even before patronising. Had the york pizza last night and was delicious. Back here today for lunch specials york scotch fillet and chicken schnitzel. Took more pictures internally. Great friendly service.

I had my doubts about staying at a pub hotel, let alone in a room without an en suite bathroom. We couldn't find the York on any of the usual booking sites, but with a quick phone call they had a room for us at 1/3 the price of anywhere else in town. The bartender was great conversation, showed us the room, and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic dinner, a great evening in the pub, and a comfortable stay for the night. I'd gladly stay here any time.

We were greeted by an amazing bartender/ waitress called “Flo”, not only was she polite and accommodating but knew the specials! Got us seated, got entrees on the way, got us drinks! Food was great! Service like this is lost these days! Flo you are a credit to the York!! You made our night!

Called in for a drink up on the balcony. Felt very special being up there!! Inside the architecture & furniture are divine!!!
