Pretty professional practice. The doctors are generally good but the practice seems to have high turnover of dentists. We have had to now change dentists twice in the past few years and the different dentists we have seen always start over as if we are new patients and have different approach to a routine cleaning that involve highly variant amount of discomfort.

Terrible first experience! After recommending NIB Dental (Wollongong) to my wife she made an online booking for a general examination to get a filling. And immediately after the booking, she rang reception to confirm that this procedure could actually be carried out as a new patient. After receiving assurances this could be done, we went there today only to be told that she needed a checkup and clean first. As we already new, the dentist told her she needed two fillings and that another appointment would have to be made for the work to be undertaken. We then checked online and found that a different dentist had a vacancy later that day. As a precaution, we phoned the practice again to ensure we could go ahead. While on the call, a male person in the background could be heard saying that an additional ‘consultation’ charge of $50 would be added as the dentist was not the same as the first. After being given assurances from the receptionist that this charge would be claimable on her NIB Health Insurance, we decided to proceed. The procedure was carried out, but alas, the gap payment for the ‘consultation’ fee was not approved. Having been to NIB Dental (Wollongong) many times myself, not once have I been charged a ‘consultation’ fee for dental work carried out by another dentist. In fact, this has happened frequently due to the high turnover of staff. In hindsight, we should have returned to our local dentist in Kiama rather than driving all the way to Wollongong. NIB Dental (Wollongong) has completely lost its focus on patients and has turned into another cut-throat money-making enterprise.

I Have been seeing Lina, at NIB Dental Wollongong, and she is amazing! I trust in her 100% she is very honest and does amazing work!Highly Reccomend Lina to anyone who wants a good honest dentist.

I had a pretty terrible experience. Without proper examination I was referred to an orthodontist to have my tooth removed. I became suspicious and sought a second opinion and it turned out that my tooth was healthy and all that was needed was a replacement of an existing crown (second dentist: how would you know a tooth is cracked without taking the crown off?").The subsequent conversations with practice and area manager didn't give me the impression that there was much of an insight into how problematic the wrong diagnosis was. I never received a genuine apology (mistakes can happen) and can't recommend NIB Dental. Go elsewhere."

Very nice staff. Very nice, very professional Dentists. Good location and very clean practice.

Needed to get my wisdom teeth out pretty quickly and Emma was able to fit me in with the oral surgeon who does the twilight sedation the very next week and said that if he wasn't available that day could find a spot for me in Sydney, she provided such great service to me. I was very nervous when the day came but the whole experience was great would definitely recommend!

Dr Graham and his assistants are so professional and welcoming. Glad to see the friendly receptionist is back.
