I have used iWest Insurance Brokers for many years. I have found them to be very efficient, prompt with claims and have always provided me with the best possible quotes. In recent times Hobart was hit with major flooding, having a property management company and dealing with numerous other insurance companies on behalf of my owners during this time, nobody was easier to deal with than iWest. You only really find out how good your insurance company is when you need to make a claim. One call and it was all done. Thank you Mark and the team!

I recently purchased an investment property which, due to the number of stories of the building in which it is situated, would not be insured by the insurance company that insures my home, contents and cars. Accordingly, I was looking for a broker who could provide advice and identify options to meet my needs.I decided to contact iWest on the basis of 9 very positive on-line reviews regarding customer service.My first phone call mid-morning went to message bank and I left my details and waited for a return call.Having not received a call by late afternoon (Friday) I called again. This time my call was answered. I was advised by the person taking the call that she was out of the office and that upon her return, she would immediately email to me a pro-forma that I should complete and return. Upon receipt of my response, an iWest staff member would use the detail to assess what insurance product would best meet my needs. This would be done over the course of the weekend if I returned the information straight away.This seemed an excellent outcome so I provided my email address and awaited the information to be emailed to me.Alas, I received no email from iWest over the weekend.On Monday morning, I phoned iWest thinking that the matter had been overlooked or perhaps a mistake had been made with my email address. My call went straight to message bank (the message indicated that another call was being taken, to leave my contact details and I would be called back).This I did. It is now over twenty four hours later and my call has not been returned.This has been a disappointing experience and leaves me concerned as to quality of service that I would likely receive from iWest if I were to do business with the company. I would prefer to support a local business so I am now left to try another.
