Update June 2023- VividConsistently good food and cocktails. The staff lovely and restaurant interior nice. Had a window seat downstairs with views to darling harbour. Well run kitchen.Near restaurant is the darling harbour bridge walkway great views here when Vivid on and without Vivid worth getting some pics, when it’s dark the lights of the city are sensational.Old review4/5We have been to this restaurant many times and quality of food excellent and nice cocktails. Good views if you ask for a table downstairs near window.Restaurant has a set menu and it's a good price with excellent choices.The only thing that could be better is the food is rushed out and each dish comes very quickly. Good if you are out for a quick dinner but not for a date. Staff lovely and bathrooms very clean and easy to get their with a light rail stop close by.Love your local guide - M❤️

My friend and I had dinner here on Monday night. They have set price for 3 course meal including entrée, main meal and dessert.We ordered the snails and duck liver pate as entrée, kangaroo fillet and salmon as main. The snails were definitely interesting as it was my first time trying snails. The duck liver pate came with pickles and bread. It was really delicious. The snails came with 2 pieces bread too.The mains tasted excellent. Everything was balanced. Kangaroo is tender, only a little bit chewy, and salmon is delicious.The desserts we had were hazelnut icecream and chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet. Chocolate cake was slightly sweeter than the hazelnut icecream, but it has more flavours which was nice.The atmosphere was really good, very suitable for dating. The staff were knowledgeable about the dishes, friendly and the service was fast. Highly recommended.

Still just as good as years ago. This place is honestly the best value French cuisine you can get! Delicious food, generous portions, and good service from staff. It does get a bit busy but it's perfect for group catch-ups and lunches too, without hurting the wallet. must gets are the pate, kangaroo, and the sticky date pudding! On this occasion I got the snail's and lamb but they are just as good and portions are very generous!

From multiple visits in different occasions, I would say that the food quality has consistently delivered! Just the highlights for the meal today:Kangaroo fillet - texture has good balance of chewiness and softness with smokey meat flavoursPate Maison - good amount of flavoursome paste for your crunchy garlic breadSeafood Plate - though standard mix but no faultsEscargot - the European base cooked snail is distinctly rich and preserved its flavours.Even the ice cream was great with natural add onsThough I would pick on the lack of change and changes in the menu over the years, overall the meals are worth the $45 3-course meal. Along with the timely and attentive service and modern French decor, multiple visits for the Little Snail has gotten no complaints.

Good food great ambiance, friendly staff, we ordered escargot for entrée, for main we ordered chicken cordon bleu, seafood plate, and veal tenderloin, and for desserts we ordered kahlua infused chocolate mousse, chef churned hazelnut and praline ice cream, and handmade profiterole.Love the escargot you can taste the garlic, butter and herbs. The seafood are fresh, the veal was tender and not overcooked.The price also reasonable for full set lunch.Of you are near darling harbor, you should try this restaurant.

This place has been here for years now! I remember first coming here over ten years ago. And the dishes offered are still around from that time. So my most recent visit was a work lunch with 10 people and the food all came out on time and we all got the course that we ordered without the staff having to ask who ordered what. The snails were delicious, super garlicky and full of flavour. The calamari was a bit disappointing with only 4 rings placed on the plate- could get that at the local fish and chip shop for a third of the price. The seafood plate felt a bit cheap and looked like something you would pick up yourself at a buffet. The beef was cooked well! And the desserts were okay but not great. Most of the staff was great. There was one waiter who seemed to be having a bad day.

Great atmosphere, filling portions and good service at an affordable price. The liver pate was sated my hunger for the kangaroo fillet, which was an experience I would definitely go back to. Closing it off was the sticky date pudding, which was everything I could have hoped for and more. Definitely will recommend and come back to

I was pleasantly surprised by dinner here. And it was good value for three courses with decent choices for each course. All of my courses were tasty, the service was fast and I would definitely go again next time I'm near Darling Harbour. I highly recommend it!
