The food was absolutely lovely. The service was not as great. Long waits in between having to wave down to get another drink, overall food great and scenery was amazing!

Michael Lambies food was nice, quite a few glitches with service and cramped seating on the night, hopefully all sorted for the next function

Celebrated my sister's birthday at this great restaurant last Sunday. Of the 8 people on our table, 3 have medical dietary conditions and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We did share plates for our starters and the serving sizes were very good. The mains were a very generous size. Beautiful food and an excellent selection of wines. I could not fault the experience.

Very cool and trendy Asian fusion fancy restaurant in Melbourne. The restaurant itself is located in a steel box placed over the Federation square with a nice view over the river and the CBD. The view is not the main dish for the night, but it is a nice complement to the food served in set menus they have to offer. Extensive wine and drinks options to go together as well. Service was amazing. Highlights to the seared tuna and the chocolate dessert. Just beware that the experience will be pricey.

Excellent service and yummy food. Look forward to revisiting. No drink was ordered so no rating. The only thing to add is that the pot rice was slightly salty but still it was delicious.

Delicious food, great service and a wonderful, and convenient to all public transport, venue . A great midweek lunch catch up for us. We tried the feed me lunch which was a great way to sample several dishes, then we couldn’t resist the deserts which were amazing and so beautifully presented. 4.5 stars.

Relaxed and friendly service but very professional and helpful answering questions around the menu. The food was delicious and plentiful with the $45/lunch offer. Thank you, I will be back!

Overall great experience.I gave a 4 instead of 5 for food because there was nothing outstanding but also nothing bad.I enjoyed the cocktails more than the food.Service was fantastic.Best dish was prawn and ginger dumplings.

Worth a try for any foodie. Complex and contemporary dishes that I believe all people who care for food will appreciate.I highly recommend the set menu ($105 for nine dishes served over three courses) as it provided a great array of dishes to try, for what I think was a good price.See list of dishes included below:• Baker Bleu country sourdough, cultured chilli butter• Sake washed tuna, soybean pesto, yuzu jelly• Steak tartare, nashi, black garlic, confit yolk, wonton crisp• Golden silken tofu, oroshi daikon, soy dashi---• Prawn & ginger dumpling, wood ear mushrooms, tom yum dressing• Humpty Doo barramundi, cuttlefish, confit black bean vierge---• Szechuan spiced duck, watercress, chilli dressing• Claypot rice, lup chong, shitake, son in law egg---• Dark chocolate creme, cherry feuilletine, coconut sorbetThe dessert was genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Like, ever! I would eat that every single day if I could. Other stand-ours included the prawn and ginger dumplings, the barramundi, and the clay pot rice with the egg.I took one star off because 2 out of 9 dishes were below average. The tofu was bland and the tuna dish was off-balance. I shaved a bit off because the location itself was a bit difficult to navigate - so allow for extra time to make it in time for your booking. It requires going upstairs but I believe there is an elevator for accessibility.Service is warm, but it does get pretty loud. If you’re looking for a quiet place to dine, it won’t be here, although I don’t personally mind.Don’t let the one star taken off faze you. I truly would go back (mostly for that godly dessert) and highly recommend for anyone who appreciates well thought-out, complex flavours with flair and care in every bite.
