BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Port Elliot

Was verbally abused by the grounds keeper in an aggressive manner and made my family very upset. He yelled at me and got close in his body manner and posture, as we brought 2 cars into the park to unload heavy gear after a day of travelling. Was only allowed one car overnight to be parked and the other had to be parked outside the carvan park in an unsecure site even though the park was empty. Was really horrible to deal with as he wouldn't stop even after i said sorry numerous times. Very intimidating and wouldn't stay there again.

We'd checked this park out online but as good as it looked online we weren't prepared for how lovely it was when we arrived. We had a site opposite the beach which despite getting windy as the weather wasn't ideal for our stay, it was a fabulous spot. The park was clean and tidy and all of the facilities were well maintained and spotless. The free wifi was useless but that was the only downside of our stay.The staff on the phones/front counter were great - thanks Lyn, Donna and Paul. Before we left this time we booked another two stays later this year and next year. We can't wait to come back! Thanks!!!!!

A holiday park with excellent location, facilities, environment and scenery. The Villa we live in is very comfortable, and Unit, Cotton, and Cabin also look great. Looking forward to camping here in a RV next time.

Great park, bathrooms were really clean & showers had good, strong water pressure with a consistent temperature. Love that you can walk to the beach or shops! Staff were friendly, and although the place was packed we had no issues getting a shower or doing laundry etc. would definitely stay here again!

Excellent cabin. Great water pressure a and hot water although the shower head is positioned for leprechauns. All cabins are positioned near each other with a central bbq and eating area. Would be excellent for a large group book out.

We spent one night here. It’s a fantastic park with beautiful big grounds for kids to play, a modern kitchen with ovens and a beautiful communal garden (it was nice to enjoy some fresh herbs and silverbeet with our breakfast). The ammenities are clean and spacious with good water pressure and temperatures. Sites have lovely trees (some big some small) for shade and shelter.Our beach side site #12 was so quiet and peaceful.If we didn’t have to fly back home we would have loved to have stayed on longer.

Lovely caravan park with great facilities, we were having a family weekend away with 5 other family members, all in caravans. We had a great site location close to the beach , Sites were of a good size and not on top of each other. Grassed areas were lovely and maintained.At night, you could hear the waves crashing on the sand. The beach was lovely, sandy, and clean, great for throwing a towel down and relaxing by the water, and taking the kids with sand buckets in hand.A short walk to Port Elliot if you wanted to go and explore the town centre or needed grocery items.Facilities at the park were good, toilets and shower areas clean. Lovely play area for the kids and the shared kitchen space great.In regards to service, my initial contact with the park was by phone, and I couldn't fault the two calls I had initially made. The woman over the phone was lovely and helpful. However, on arrival, there was a query on our booking, (which I had amended over the phone and had confirmed with an email), I found the male who served me to be condescending and rude. I explained that i had spoken with a woman the afternoon before arrival, and she had put a note against our booking and another member of the group we were with. I gave him the details of people we were camping with and his response was he doesn't know who I spoke with but he knew nothing about it and couldn't help me due to confidentiality of customers

Based on cabin - overall a nice location with a comfy cabin. The park has been blessed by a great location but unfortunately one staff member has a terrible attitude. Using his height to stand over my wife and berate her for her father following you through the gate, in no way her fault as we advised him that only one car is allowed through. This could have been handled much better, main point being speaking to the tailgaters and getting the full story of why he followed. If it didn't happen I would be recommending this park to friends but now I'll advise them to go elsewhere at the risk of running to the one staff member

Great family caravan park close to the beach. Good playground and camp kitchen in the middle of the park. Would be good if there was some shade over the jumping pillow. Don't bother getting a pizza from the pizza van that visits as they are very expensive for the size. Very small pizza in a large box. We were very disappointed with them.

It's a lovely place to visit Port Elliot, the cabin we booked was pet friendly so we could take our dog that goes everywhere with us. They are basic, nice, clean spacious cabins apart from the bathroom, that was a little not so squeezy but all in all functionable. The only point I would make is the cabin could use some blackout curtains because the blinds on the windows leaves a slit each side and when your woken up at 7am in the morning by blinding sunlight it's not a nice thing to wake up too..
