EDIT. I’ve been several times since and all have been great, todays feed was simply amazing, bloody yum!Went for lunch, they are still getting setup so the small menu was on offer, had the brisket box for $20 and didn’t disappoint. Friends also got the box and had half the meat, so some adjustments to be made. The main issue to fix though is the service of the food, people are ordering and sitting down at numbered tables, but this doesn’t get to the kitchen and half of us had finished before the other meals came out. Once this is ironed out, I’ll be back more than I should I’d say.

Big price difference on posted FB menu Vs restaurant menu... 30% plus higher. Staff were great, can't fault the service. Beef ribs were dry but good flavour. Apple slaw smelt funky, didn't risk eating it. Asked for some aioli, came out with a solid dry crust/film over the top. Chicken wings were AMAZING, will get them again but probs take away only.

I’ve been here about ten times to this inimitable restaurant. The food is very affordable with hulking proportions. the staff are helpful and cordial today we got served by Indy and Estelle. I’ve never had brisket so tasty.

This place is a candidate for Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The appleslaw had no apple and was drowning in sweet dressing, the brisket and short ribs were tough, the pulled pork was disgusting and completely inedible, the fried chicken was actually chicken schnitzel. The mac and cheese was flavourless, the bbq sauce tasted storebought, the pickles definitely were store bought, the gravy was powdery. Really disappointing and annoying to spend so much money for such a bad meal. There was not one thing on the plate that was enjoyable. There are lots of good ideas but the execution is so poor that you wonder how they have the gall to serve it at all. The staff were all friendly and the cocktails were okay, hence the two stars, but I won't be wasting more money here and I recommend you don't either.

The bacon, egg, and brisket burger blew me away. Perfect brisket, perfect egg, thick generous bacon, a large bakery quality roll, and a sauce that I still can't work out but absolutely loved.They're still obviously a new business finding their feet but the food is phenomenal, the service is friendly, and the venue had a great relaxed vibe.I highly recommend giving them a go and can't wait to see what they become.

This place was such a pleasure to experience, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was great.. I don't eat pork at all because I think it's disgusting however my wife had me try some of hers and I would actually order it because it was SOOO GOOD! I told the head chef this and he came out with some chicken wings (I also don't eat wings) and they were so crispy and delicious! We will 100% be coming back!! It's the best BBQ on the coast!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Tuggerah.The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing! I had the brisket and it was to die for. Absolutely the best meal we have had in a while. Highly recommend! Will be back.

Went here the other night for the first time with some friends, menu inside is completely different to online ( much smaller ) service was good and quick except 1 girl working with blonde hair was extremely rude, stood around doing nothing in between rolling her eyes and talking back not only to us but to multiple tables around us. Other staff on were lovely though. Food was very good burger was massive, had the pork belly pretty good portion. Would recommend on a night where there is nice staff on :)

4 of us for dinner on Friday night, second week opened I think. We all ordered a different meal because we wanted to try everything. Loved the sides choices offered. We had brisket, pork, ribs and chicken, everything was great, but the ribs were amazing. There are two dessert options, banana cream pie and smoked cheesecake. Both were good, but the smoked Oreo base was something I keep thinking about, different to anything I've had before. The owner chatted to us while we had dessert, he is passionate about creating an experience that is true to the US tradition. Highly recommend for work functions, birthdays, after work drinks. This place will only get better, beautiful fit out and concept.
