Green Valley Butchery

Fantastic quality meat!My kids prefer the kofta from Green Valley then what I make at home.The service is wonderful the butchers will take time to tell you how to cook cuts if they are something you haven’t cooked before.

Around 4pm yesterday I waited at the counter for a good 5 minutes while all the boys where having a nice little chat, I waited while they where having a nice little gossip, one of then had a quick look at me then went back to having a chin wag. Eventually I got fed up and asked if they where open, one of the younger guys said yup and surved me. I got 2 porterhouse steaks and 1kg of mince on the 11th. Tonight, on the 12th I was going to cook one of these steaks. I opened the bag in the fridge to be greeted by the smell of rot.

Very good meat. I usually buy goat meat from this shop.This time I was charged was for 2.42kg but the meat was only 2.3kg. Almost 150gms less. We weighted at home as we felt it was less weight. And this is the only reason I gave 4 star raitings.

They offer better cuts than some other halal butchers. They offer mid range wagyu.

That lady with a scarf is the most unfriendly person ever. First time I went to get bones for my puppy she rolled her eyes while one of the male workers helped me pick bones for my dog. This time she left me stood there eventho she saw me, and I said excuse me, a male worker turned around and was going to help me when I asked if there is any bone off cuts. He was about to grab some from the bins and the lady shook her head tell him not to.Ok fine I guess she wanted to save them for herself to eat. No wonder why I never see anyone buying anything from there yet the chicken meat shop next door has people lining up eventho the price is the same.Big karma for being a b

I dont like giving 1 stars but the quality of the meat i have purchased is rubbish, i dont know what you guys have mixed with the mince meat i purchased but just threw the whole lot in the bin, i have had nothing but hard bits come up enough to hurt my teeth i never experienced this with my other butchers, i will remove the 1 star when i see that this problem has been fixed it happened twice now first 1 was 2weeks ago again it ruined the food, and today with clunky hard bits that a knife struggles to cut

Great quality meats and clean, nice staff, it's close to my work place, I'm going there often, try their burger and mince is fresh, ask for whatever kind of meat you want they are nice enough to make it ready for you, I like this place and highly recommended

Fresh meat, love their lamb! And good range of frozen staff. Friendly staff. Never have any issues. Travel from Newcastle to buy meat here.

Lady was very unfriendly.I asked for a whole chicken to be cut up and when I got home it was missing a drumstick. I don’t know if they put it aside to sell it again or if that leg ran off.Won’t be going here again but to the butcher next door.
