Three generations of my family have chosen the Winning Post as their preferred Barber and it has been a Winning Post haircut that we have chosen for every special occasion from weddings to the start of a new school term, for nearly 40 years.A local family owned and operated business, the staff are invested in their community and the strong relationships with clientele are testament to that.The service offerings are wide ranging and competitively priced. The quality of service is second to none, requests are accommodated and style, length and method are communicated throughout. I have always been asked if I am satisfied prior to finishing up. The customer service is excellent, friendly, personable staff with whom it is easy to build rapport.There are no hidden costs, exorbitant pricing structures or disinterested staff.I would strongly recommend The Winning Post if you are looking for friendly customer service and value for money.

Since returning to Melbourne, I have tried a few times to find that barber who is good at their job, pleasant to talk to and is fair with pricing. Despite all the glowing reviews you see on google its remarkably difficult to find the right place. Until today that is. I walked past The Winning Post on my way to a different shop and it looked friendly. I checked online and the reviews were consistently good and now I can say this is the best barber I have used in many, many years. Excellent cut, very friendly and welcoming and comparable pricing. These guys are worth a visit.
