Best real deal Thai restaurant on the Sunny Coast. My Thai/Isaan wife verifies the authenticity of the kitchen flavours and food quality and the value for money is exceptional. My regular dish is Pad Thai pork, complemented with a cold beer.

Thoroughly miserable service from the moment I smiled at the waitress, waiting to be seated. Got one starter, but still took an hour to get our two mains. The starter (fish cakes) came without any cutlery. One main was lukewarm, the other was of mixed temperatures, with some of the chicken hot, some cold, like a stir fry made from refrigerated ingredients that wasn’t reheated adequately. The place was half full but the service was terrible, which is inexcusable. No smiles or desire to ‘serve customers’ from the young waitress. It strikes me that this place might know Asian dishes and do a reasonable job of that, but there’s clearly no experience of hospitality amongst the front of house staff. Perhaps the ‘chefs’ also have no experience of juggling multiple covers. I could believe that. No asking if we’d like more drinks after the first was gone. No polite apologies for the wait. Just ignored. Price might be relatively low, but the service is awful. Make it takeaway or don’t bother.

Fantastic food, friendly staff large portion. Overall great service, price & taste & restaurant was very clean. Definitely would recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner.

Had a quick lunch here with my partner while waiting for our friends. It’s quite hot on that day but the staffs said the air conditioning was broken down. So we sat outside, we’re sweating. My partner went to the cashier to order some cold drinks but could only get one bottle that we liked, sold out. I had the Singaporean noodles and my partner had a pad Thai. Both were a bit greasy and the taste was ok. Overall experience was just ok.

Friendly service, excellent food and a cool vibe. My wife & I dined here yesterday evening whilst holidaying in Coolum. Would definitely come again.

It's been a while since we dined at Si Suphan, however, meals, service and atmosphere lived upto expectations and memories.I travel a bit for work and see and taste a variety of good and bad. We are lucky to have the range of cafes and restaurants in Coolum we have and based on my experience, consistently good.While I'm away I am subjected to, what I will term, 'Aussiefied' Asian dishes, however not here. Meals are great, of good portion size and service by young gentleman on evening of 23/01/23 was excellent.

Stayed at Coolum for the weekend and found this place. Pla Sam Rod was the bom, the flavor explosion when it goes to your mouth was priceless. I will miss it when I go back to Brisbane. We also ordered saltnpepper calamari, sweet & sour pork, and pad see ew.
