BAYLATO Byron Bay

I love taking my kids to Baylato - great playspace right next to it so I can chat with my friends, there is shade for us to sit under, it's in a lovely Farm atmosphere environment, and the ice cream is AMAZING! I particularly like the sugar free and more healthy kids ice cream options they have, not many places offer this.

What a lovely little spot to enjoy an açai bowl! One of the best açai bowls I’ve ever had, so delicious and so well presented! I couldn’t recommend them enough! The fruit on top was fresh and the granola was crunchy — both such lovely combos for the fresh taste of the açai! As well as the toppings it already came with, it had the option to add extras as well. I am very impressed and will definitely be coming back! Thanks Baylato!

My kids and I have been big fans of Baylato ice cream for many years! They welcome you with such a smile and now it is at the greatest venue with cute set up. Highly recommended!

Delicious gelato from locally sourced ingredients. We had the Farm Honey and the Macadamia, which both had amazing flavour. Highly recommended.

I was quite disappointed with my experience . I booked baylato months in advance for my wedding and they started off good with communication but then the morning of my wedding I received an email from them cancelling due to covid. I understand anyone can get covid and that is okay but it was the fact they cancel on me on the morning of the day and didn’t offer an alternative option just we cancel and that’s it . I sent multiple emails and tried calling 5 times and no answer which I was very disappointed in because even if they had offered to just drop the ice cream off and we do it ourselves I would of been more then okay with that but the fact they cancelled and offered nothing and then don’t reply I wasn’t very unimpressed.

Delicious and creamy gelato! Tried the macadamia, belgian chocolate, and cookies and cream and they were all great!

Nice spot. Acai bowls were good here a while ago but they stopped using granola, which is pretty disappointing. Nowhere near as good or satisfying with just acai and a bit of chopped fruit. And way too many almonds. Won't order that here again. Gelato is good.
