They don’t call it safety beach for nothing! Dirk and I enjoyed a day in the sun and felt safe the whole time. We found a great space to ourselves but soon many families had come and set up next to us, maybe they felt there was even more safety in numbers. I applied sunscreen to Dirk every two hours to be sun safe. Slip, slop, slap, slide, sleep, slam.

A beautiful and seemingly empty beach perfect for the summer road trip.Though it’s nothing special in the way of surf, or any crazy beach side activities, in the dead of summer this haven was practically empty. We went on a road trip here and ran into very few people meaning we were free to play and enjoy music, and hang out without the crazy summer crowds.Perfect for families with a lot of local shops and cafes nearby and a lovely quiet place to spend your summer.
