This area isn't blessed with a super wide range of food options but what it does have is two fantastic Thai restaurants with jack & royal and Home No.9.Absolutely love the laksa here and their dinsims are unique and delicious. Haven't had a bad meal with these guys, authentic dishes and fair pricing.

This restaurant has been a family favourite till now. I was surprised to see that our usual takeaway massaman beef had halved in size. When I asked if a mistake had been made, I was told that they reduced the portion size to avoid raising prices. However if you halve the portion then in effect you’ve doubled the price. We’ve always loved the food here but it really is too expensive for what you get now. It would have been more reasonable to increase the price a little and give us a full container. I understand that perhaps they can’t afford to put as much meat in as previously but how much could sauce and potatoes cost? Surety there’s no need to skimp out on those too.

Great Thai in a little town! We were just traveling through and thought we’d try “Homeno.9” and were pleasantly surprised! Very nice ambiance as well.One surprise that gave us a good laugh: the restaurant is actually called “Home No. 9”!

5 + stars!Love this new Thai restaurant and I’ve returned since time and time again. I wish I could now go back and re review my previous Thai restaurants in the area.The ingredients seem so nice and fresh, it’s not oily and super tasty.Red Curry is what I’ve known previously as Penang Curry but yum, green curry yum, chicken and cashew nut delicious. Curry puffs, spring rolls and duck pancakes soooo good.I almost don’t want to say how good it is so I can keep it a secret.So glad we are upping the level of food standards in this area.
