Quite lovely place, with good coffee

We enjoy visiting Laurent Albert Park. Delicious pastries, exquisite sandwiches served by lovely staff delivering excellent customer service. Today we had another pleasant experience having our cappuccino and hot chocolate made by Aurelio. We are from Italy and we can tell how a good cappuccino should taste like and the one we had today was absolutely perfect. Aurelio always delivers an exceptional customer service and he is a skilled barista, a wonderful addition to your experienced team.

Have previously enjoyed going to Laurent for exceptional cakes and pastries. However, quality and standards are now lacking. Being served by staff wearing tracksuit pants and dirty sneakers is not acceptable, the store was dirty and food poorly displayed and presented. Not impressed.

Undertrained, unprofessional staffs. misleading service.The waiters could really benefit from some serious training to improve their English language skills and product knowledge. I was there this afternoon trying to get some help ordering, asking about a cake that looked like some sort of mousse with a mango-colour coating. The first waiter told me it was mango mousse but he was uncertain, following by a female waitress named ‘Yuan’ who could not fathom what I was asking when I said the description of the cake does not mention any ingredient that involves mango. She was then rather rude and reluctant to try to explain what it was. I was brushed off with a muffling “It is like that.” I figured out later that it was actually a creme brûlée coat and it has got nothing to do with mango. In this case it was not too much of a big deal but what if it is a guest with allergies?I then ordered a tea a bit later and again ‘Yuan’ seemed rather reluctant to serve.

This is a gorgeous cafe with amazing baked goods and attentive service. I've heard a lot about Laurent from my friends and it did not disappoint. The little tea cakes were so immaculately presented, the breads and pastries looked delightful, and the overall ambience with the marble and soft lighting was so inviting. We had a relaxing little afternoon tea and enjoyed the simplicity of the experience. Even though they were so busy, it still felt like a special treat and we were given due attention and excellent service. Can't recommend this cafe highly enough.

Extremely overpriced meat pie that was made with some very ordinary pastry. Shortcrust I think but thick and doughy and it overpowered the decent tasting filling. Pies don't need to be pretentious.

Bright, comfortable environment. Delicious pastries. Great sourdough bread. Coffee, yes please!Today tried the Passion Tart, a custard tart with overlay of passionfruit flavour; very nice! Took home an escargot and blackberry Danish. I will let you know my verdict (I expect it will be good).

Wide range and choice of fine pastries, viennoiseries and sandwiches of all kinds with breads or croissants. By the way, almond croissant was tasty and delicious.Nice place to chill out, bright and comfy with outside seating area.

We got the most delicious cake from Laurent via Uber Eats and I was so obsessed by this chocolate mousse delight I literally had three pieces. It’s definitely going to be on the re-order list

One of the best Mocha I have had in a while. The hot cross buns were great too. Overall a nice setting and the cafe serves fresh coffee till 6 pm. Win win!
