Zirak Tiling

Zirak came to my home as I had water spilling out from underneath my frameless shower. I brought him in and told him that I just needed the shower door lifted 3mm so I could silicone a water barrier underneath that I had purchased from Bunnings. However, he told me that wouldn't work and started talking about cutting the tiles to carve out a piece at an angle and then gluing the tiles back together. He had extremely poor communication skills and couldn't articulate exactly what the job would entail so after failing to understand him I asked him to send me a written quote. 1-2 weeks later he sent me this over SMS, word for word:Hi $600 to make full to shower thanks".I asked him to explain what that meant and to provide further information and his response was:"Hi supply the grout and glue you get the tiles".I asked him again to explain what the job would entail

Khadim works well with tiles. He replaced 10 tiles in my shower with relative ease. However, he is not very skilled at Grouting. Specifically, when working with epoxy. Not only did he get the color wrong (which he then had to remove) … the second attempt resulted in the epoxy not settling because he didn’t use enough hardener. I would not recommend his services for any grouting work whatsoever. As a consequence, I cannot recommend Khadim to do any tiling work either because tiling and grouting go hand-in-hand
