Amazing experience at Hope & May in Byron bay! Store is beautiful and employee (Jesse?) was so kind and helpful. Love this shop and perfect for Christmas gifts.

The store is absolutely beautiful, full of gorgeous homewares and the staff are polite and incredibly helpful. I have visited the store on a number of occasions and have never had anything other than a positive experience. The girls cannot do enough to help, and are really knowledgeable with products, sizing etc. Would highly recommend Hope & May!

I had excellent customer service with Hope and May who happily replaced a faulty product, and not only that , immediately supplied an alternative item until the correct colour was available. They were pleasant and helpful and kept me informed along the way. Thanks to all at Hope and May

Elegant homewares.

I’ve was really disappointed with the online store and the after sales service. The postage was slow and timeframes were not clearly communicated on the website (I needed the garment for an event and thought I was leaving enough time ordering over 7 days prior), I wasn’t even given an option to select an express option. The returns process was also slow and time consuming and trying to actually get a response from anyone was frustrating. I sent 3 emails before getting a response. All this does not inspire me to want to shop with them again

After purchasing an item on Black Friday sale, my request for a simple size swap was refused (even though it’s no skin off their nose, I’d be paying the return postage and there was plenty of the item in stock). Dreadful customer service, clearly putting profits ahead of satisfied buyers. Would not recommend to anyone. Have a good hard look at your business practice Hope & May, you won’t thrive if you can’t even swap a size. Lots of other wonderful small businesses to support here in Australia with more heart, leave this place off your list.

Online store has beautiful garments and items but customer care is really disappointing. Returns policy does not give the option of refunds for returns (which is odd for shopping online and you cannot try on the garment) and when expressly asked my request was refused and I needed to pay for return postage so I was out of pocket even more. Will think carefully about shopping there again.

I wish I had never purchased from Hope & May. I returned 2 items due to poorly designed sizes but they only offered a credit note. How does a credit note help when you have limited items on your site to choose from? On top of that, they also charged me a $10 return fee!
