As an investment owner, I would never put my rental property through Simic Agents.I had the unfortunate experience of living in a rental managed by Simic agents and it was a headache from the start. A few examples below:1. It took us 4+ weeks to get our keys / access to the property. After many emails we eventually had to tell them that we would stop paying rent until sorted. Only then did it get amended quickly (as it should have from the beginning).2. When waiting for the keys above to be dropped off, I stayed home the whole day to be there when the agent arrived. They never showed up. Didn't answer my calls and only contacted me the following day.3. There were 2 tenants that were signed to the agreement who never received email communication. Upon questioning this, we were told that they we not on the lease. I (as a tenant) had to then send Simic the signed contracts that we originally completed with them so they could add it to their files.4. The last point (but certainly the last issue experienced) was our exit report that took over a month to finalise. Luckily we took many photos in our entry report (close ups that Simic did not take) to dispute almost all of the arguments made.It appears that unfortunately this is common practice from other reviews. Hopefully this review makes other potential clients/customers aware of what they are getting into before dealing with Simic Agents.I would highly recommend Coronis rental agents that I am now going through as an investor.Regards,Kelsey

Simic had been looking after my unit as Property Managers for a couple of years. Bernadette and her team were fantastic with offering good advice on all aspects of property rental and they keep their landlords up to date with the ever-changing legal requirements. They found a wonderful tenant who looked after my unit as if it were her own. This resulted in minimal repairs and maintenance when I decided to put my unit on the market.I also used Simic Estate Agents to sell my property. Dennis was great to deal with - very personable, honest, efficient and an excellent communicator who set realistic expectations and then exceeded them. I followed all his advice which was based on his many years of experience in the Brisbane market and I was rewarded with a much higher than expected sale price.I highly recommend Simic Estate Agent for all your property requirements!

Simic Real estate treats its rental clients like second class citizens. People rent for a variety of reasons, but the majority would prefer not to be in that situation.It is difficult to freely communicate as they use apps etc to leave messages. Maintenance was always an issue and as I lived at an older property, I had to do many repairs myself. When I moved out, the standard of care required was extreme, and they claimed repairs were to be done that were damaged when I arrived and they weren't listed on the entry report.I will never rent again through Simic.

This is the agency that you want to manage your rental property. Bernadette looks after our property as her own, will ensure that everything you ask for is done and has suggestions to ensure that everything is well looked after and maintained. The process of finding tenants, arranging gardening and general maintenance has been highly efficient and Bernadette communicates every step of the way. Bernadette goes the extra mile, arranging items such as tax depreciation and discussing how to store extras such as tiles and carpet offcuts for future use. Bernadette has a fantastic team and I am delighted to have Simic managing the property. I can recommend this agency unconditionally.

Georgina, the property manager, is amazing. She is super helpful, friendly, understanding and reasonable. She made our transition out of the house a breeze and was always prompt in replying to emails. She improved our experience with Simic ten-fold. A negative of Simic is that their maintenance request system is slow, we often waited multiple weeks to get things repaired.

Our Morningside investment property has been very well managed by Bernadette from Simic Property for many years so we contacted Dennis to discuss listing it for sale. From start to finish he was professional, informative and sold our house prior to its auction. Would never lease a property from Simic again, did not have full access to the property for the first 4 weeks of the lease and did everything in their power to take our bond, including trying to claim for damages of items that were pre-existing our lease and stated in the entry report . We took good care of the property and paid for a full bond clean at the end of our lease. Worst experience with a real estate agent, compared to others I have dealt with.

We used Simic estate agency for our investment property as our rental agents and then most recently for the sale of our property. Both Bernadette and Denis have been the easiest to deal with in every aspect of their business and have made our lives as landlords and then sellers the best it can be.Bernadette handled our tenants on the rental front with complete professionalism and we never had to worry about a late payment or anything not being taken care of.Dennis recently sold our property for more than we had expected. I have sold properties in the past but I have never had the whole sale process explained to me the way Dennis did.
