Rental Trends

I've recently started a tenancy with Rental Trends. Never hesitate to answer my questions and I never have to wait long before I get a response.Highly recommend them.

Had a great experience with Rental Trends. The apartment was clean when we entered it, had a through check list. Did our due diligence with our entry report so when we did our exit report it was easy. We knew what they needed as far as cleaning. We used their recommended cleaner who did an amazing bond cleaning for an average price. We got back our full bond and feel like Rental trends made it clear of the expectations to make that happen. I would 100% rent from them again! Thank you for an easy transition!

They are exceptionally professional and open in their communication. I had no worries because they are so honest. You will be surprised. I appreciate all their hard work and details. I can certainly say there is something special in their service. I strongly recommend them to anybody . They won’t let you down!!

I would recommend this rental agency,it has been a smooth transition because they are very efficient and ready to help you with any problem you could face during your tenancy. I would rent with them again!

We rented with this agency from 2021 - 2022. Getting them to do basic repairs (e.g. fix the hot water system and asking for them to remove a possum nesting in the property) was like pulling teeth. We ended our lease after a year because we were so fed up.Unfortunately after we moved out, the real problems began. Like countless others, they claimed our full bond and we had to go to QCAT (they would have also charged the property owner extra for the time). During the negotiation process they were abusive, threatening, blackmailed us and lied about everything. They like to leave bad reviews on tenant’s workplaces and cry defamation.My advice for anyone vacating is to claim the bond at 12:01am on the day you exit. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt and take photos of absolutely everything (window tracks, range hood filters etc) and prepare to go to QCAT, it’s not as bad as you think.I found out this isn’t an isolated incident and this is what they do to everyone. If you are also experiencing this behaviour, please contact justice at Qld dot gov dot au and make a complaint. They have a file open about them and the only way we can get them to take action is to lodge complaints. You can also post on the Brisbane Reddit and see similar reviews on Trust Pilot and Ocean biz.They talk tough over email but once they get to QCAT, they won’t even look you in the eye. They’re supposedly under new management but they haven’t changed. They are as vile as ever.

The team at rental trends are a Great group of people, very helpful when needed even gave me a lift home to get into my place when i locked myself out,very understanding and quick with requests i put in and just an overall great group of humans.

I have been renting for 20 years and have had numerous rental companies that I have had to deal with. And I must say Rental trends is by far the best. They work with you and not against you which makes renting enjoyable not horrible.

I rented through rental trends for 3 years and overall it was a pleasant experience. Although I had quite a few maintenance issues (not their fault or mine) they were always fixed very quickly. They use reputable tradespeople - in fact I had new appliances fitted in the property I purchased by the same tradespeople.They were open to negotiating fair rent increases and passed on any communication to/from the body corporate quickly. I broke my lease to buy a propertyidnt have and Aimee had the property rented after the first inspection and kept me informed throughout the process.During quarterly inspections they were pleasant and considerate by giving plenty of notice. By far the stand out was receiving a full bond refund within 24 hours of handing the keys back! I used their recommended cleaner (Simon Moodie) and didn’t have any issues.It is under new ownership now and I think their reputation will continue to improve.
