Purchased a new car today. I dealt with Scott who was not your typical car salesperson. He wasn't pushy or over the top. He was amazing, professional and super helpful; same with Ryan in finance. Quick service and quick approval for a loan - super easy process! Incredibly happy with my new purchase.

Very pleased with the help provided. done a gearbox so car was out for a while. These guys organized another vehicle so we could continue our travels and kept us up to date with progress. Courteous and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Thanks again

Pickering used cars...I may not be the easiest person but arrogant,rude hollier than thou attitude kinda makes you angry from the start the the sales l it dosnt matter but a team meeting on how to approach and treat people and because you were rude to me i wont get back to you thats what we got ..pickering Isuzu Duckworth st is the best have staff unparalleled to any maybe send them used car staff there for an up gradeI wont recommend friends because they already told me not to go there to city pickering used cars i have just read the other reviews what more can you say. ...

I am from Cairns. I purchased a car for my daughter, sight unseen, from Scott in Townsville. I found Scott to be very professional. I was sent a honest video of the vehicle, with Scott pointing out it’s minor faults. Pickerings delivered the car to RACQ for a vehicle check, and Scott even picked me up from the airport. I had a small issue with the vehicle on my trip home, which Scott was only too happy to help me with. I received excellent service from Scott who was always polite and friendly. I would recommend him highly. Thanks Scott!

Definitely was not impressed. If the car I wanted was from two different car yards in Townsville I would have went to the other but unfortunately they had the only car that I was after. At first I was thinking the benefit of the doubt. I had this salesman just a young boy at 22 years of age. He was nervous sounding and lacked confidence and 100% knew he was copping it from his peers and probably deserved it for not 'stepping up' in a career sense. As a trainer I guide a lot of these young guys to become better so I had a realistic idea. He needed to be under somebodies wing to guide him properly in my opinion. But it was obvious even to my wife that the senior team was unprofessional, not because they are but because they seemed burnt out and over it. A common outcome for people either a) been in a company too long and their work engagement isn't where it should be, or b) copping it from senior management and left with low morale.I didn't like the fact that the young boy nor the seniors did not offer drinks or anything else as I waited ~20mins multiple times, something I do almost straight away in my career to both clients and customers, nor was I made to feel like anything but cattle to be herded to the next pen. I overhead one experienced salesman say to the young one 'when you are done with the mustang man this happened so...'. Yeah felt great being referred to as that in ear shot.The worst I heard was a woman there telling a story about the young salesman that was dealing with me about how he crashed a car he was detailing that was meant for a family whose father just died of cancer and instead of saying the truth that there was an accident, they simply said 'oh there was a delay in the car' to the daughter who was still going ahead with the sale. They were happy however that other family members also bought from them as they were being straight up lied to.Speaking of detailing, I have had mates who have had their own businesses as professional detailers and they would have lined up and shot the guy that detailed my car. The tyres were dirty, the wheels were even dirtier and the overall detailing was worse than poor. I am saying this as somebody who has spent many years in the car scene, bought cars from enough car dealerships and as I said have had mates whose career and businesses was in the detailing line of work. I will be doing it myself properly tomorrow using the right chemicals and gear. But hey I only spent just under 70k cash with no finance so maybe I was expecting too much lol.Pickerings upper management need to go right through this team and remove the weeds tarnishing their name. Though since they are a reflection of Pickerings I can only assume that the main group are just as bad.I can only say, avoid at all costs and only deal with them if you have no other choice at all. Honestly I feel like I should have just flown to Brisbane for my vehicle out of principle and I am regretting that in hindsight.

My son bought a car from pickerings and he hasn’t had it a week and he can’t drive it because the steering won’t unlock plus he had to buy a new battery and they won’t do anything to help, maybe think twice before you go there, definitely not impressed

Absolutely fantastic service from the guys at pickerings. We had shopped around other car yards for our new car and the service received at pickerings from Damien was second to none. This was a huge factor in choosing who to purchase the car from. Will be returning in a heart beat and recommending to family and friends.
