An excellent fish & chippie shop in our neighbourhood. very reasonable prices. Love the special deals they have and variety of take away foods. Plus they sell all of the fresh seafood range. Staff very friendly and happy.

Being from Queensland, I wanted to treat my daughter and family living in Adelaide to some fresh reef fish. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Fish Man could supply what I needed. The manager very obligingly offered to fillet a while fresh Red Emperor and he did that perfectly - not one single bone! And the family said it was the best fish meal they had ever had!So I’ll be back next week to try the salmon from the Fish Man. Congratulations to the staff at the Fish Man Blackwood for your friendly helpful service, and for the high quality product. Good work!

Just bought potato fritters there … they were disgusting… the size of 50 cent pieces and so burnt we couldn’t eat them and had to throw them away … that. Is the last time we will go there !!!

The Fish Man is a wonderful local Blackwood, family run business. Not a franchise. Fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Chips are crisp and golden. We have also tried the plain burger (with onion of course!).......delicious. The crumbed prawns are also worth a try as they are yummy. Staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Very efficient to boot. They also take phone orders.During the blackout, these guys opened on a Sunday (they are normally closed on Sundays), so that one could get a hot meal.Thanks heaps guys!
