Trustworthy mechanic. Jason serviced my Hiace Van and put a new timing belt and drive belts. He explained everything and made it within one day. I can recommend this garage.

He is the most genuine and down-to-earth mechanic & person you'll ever meet, and does amazing work for local wildlife too, so definitely a business worth supporting!!

Used these lads for the first time on a new purchase for a simple issue that turned out to be more problematic. They squeezed me in, analysed the problem, proactively provided solutions and came up with the most effective fix. Then took time to explain the process, minimise the cost and offer after service advice. This is why local business rocks.

Absolutely a disaster. Never communicated with us. Was told all would be fixed in a week. I had to contact. Sorry haven’t got onto it yet. Finally got after 2 1/2 weeks. Had been told we needed a new house battery. Anyone who knows agm batteries in parallel knows if one dies both have to be replaced.Then we realised dash cam not working. Not our fault. All dash not working. Oh yes we had to jump start starter batteries. They were 4 weeks old. Did you leave ignition for n overnight. So now we need to replace dash cam.Engine guard trying to start but just flashing. Husband checks in it and takes fuse out. Now red light for alternator goes out. Auto electrician sez I didn’t wire them together. Husband didn’t use solder when installed engine guard. Now wired are soldered.The alternator is going round and round but no power is going to batteries. Today batteries are as bad as old ones were. Because no sun.If you use these people please be aware. They take on too much work and have no due diligence.We are hoppling back to WA to our real auto electrician. We will collate all evidence so you will know this is for real.If you have a little job, maybe. We thought our job was straight forward. If it wasn’t, they had every opportunity to communicate.I would say never ever use this business

Went with a problem, told me he fixed it. Same issue came again the within few days. No response from him.Falsely overcharged me for parts and when I asked him about it, he became really defensive. He literally bullied his customers.No response from him after I complained about his work.DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE to him if it’a relatively new, I don’t think he knows what he’s doing.Taking my vehicle to a different mechanic to fix the mess he made.

Southwest Automotive was excellent, they were efficient, fair, and got us in even though they were busy. We were back on the road in 15 minutes ! Thanks guys !

Took in to get speed cluster fixed as it wasn't working. Told me he was going to order in an new dash. Never heard back. Called to follow up..said he was gonna find one..never heard back.If you can't find it or sort it out that's fine, but at least tell me so i can stop wasting my time and take it to someone else.

Great service from a mechanic that actually cares about diagnosing an issue and making sure its fixed. Unfortunately that is rare these days. Glad I found these guys will definitely use again.Cheers
