Populus Cafe
Very popular coffee and brunch spot. Gorgeously plated food but of course as with most brunch can’t help but feel overpriced for the simpler fares. But the slightly complicated dishes are of much better value and taste. Be sure to book a table especially on weekends.

First time here and I was not disappointed! The space was large and open and the food was delicious and a great portion size. I am a huge fan of corn fritters and these did NOT disappoint. Will be coming back.

Cool, funky vibe. Great service and staff. Food was really good. I was a bit disappointed that the pulled pork Benedict was already sold out by 9.45am. But the Big Breaky made up for my disappointment. Well presented on the plate and the tastes to match. Chocolate pancakes were insane. And my wife just loved the chilli scrambled eggs. Definitely be back.

You can't go wrong with a cup of coffee here - the barista’s are true experts and the coffee is consistently great.. !!And if you're in the mood for something sweet, make sure to check out the dessert options. The selection is fantastic and the quality is top-notch. Highly recommend.

Atmosphere is gorgeous and so much seating inside. Also seating outside on the main St. Beautiful staff and very attentive. The coffee is consistently good and the food is divine. My spice tolerance is high but the Chili scramble is tasty and not that spicy, the bell pepper jam is a great addition to the dish. The also have a daily selection of almond crossiants, cakes, muffins inside.

The King Breakfast Burger was very tasty but a little small, and the Nourish Bowl was a little disappointing (not much flavour; would have preferred cold kimchi rather than hot). The coffee is stand out fantastic, staff were very friendly and we loved the ambience of the beautiful restaurant. Menu offers something for everyone.

We go here often for brunch usually. And they never disappoint. Food, service always on point. The staff are so friendly you're made to feel very welcome when you're there. The food comes out fairly quickly also even though they were pretty busy the day we went in.Ordered the Southern fried chicken burger which is a fav of mine. The wife had the Warm Lamb salad and the lamb was so soft it was breaking apart. Just how it should be. Great selection of teas, coffees, soft drinks and beers also! Great spot in Main st Berwick that is always a good time!
