Nallan Station Stay
A lovely stop on the way home from Newman to Perth. Catherine is a generous and gracious host, happy to share a bit of history about the station. Facilities are clean, showers are hot, camp kitchen is a bonus and there's a communal campfire to enjoy before you turn in for the night. Cost $25 ($12.50 per adult) for an unpowered site, with other accommodation options available. Our little one loved meeting all the animals and exploring the station. We have loved our station stays during our trip and Nallan is no exception.

Comfortable and clean place for an overnight stop over or short stay. We stayed in the shearer's rooms which were basic but clean and a had a very comfortable bed. Also had a great time around the open firepit talking to other guests.

I love stopping here on the way to the Kimberley. We have camped here overnight and stayed in the shearers quarters. The owners are kind and welcoming. The facilities are clean. Nice hot showers. Plenty of animals to chat to and feed.

Absolutely Amazing place to camp. $12 p/n. Showers n toilets available. Working station so got to feed the pigs and enjoyed a visit from the kelpie crossed Dingo and also a very friendly hen.Would highly recommend staying here and going for day trips around the area that has so much history.

Very kind and helpful hosts. We took a room. The bed was comfy and warm, the bedroom has no heater, it was chilly in the morning.Everything else is to share, nothing was missing, everything was functional and with a nice touch making me feel in a big family home.

The cottage accommodation looks like rustic country charm" in the photos but in reality is very run down

A very relaxed place with original station buildings and equipment. Good camp kitchen and outdoor bough shed BBQ area. Ablutions are dated but adequate. Locks on the rooms in the Shearers Quarters would be expected even if they don't fit with the history of the building.

Experienced a historic working station at Nallan Station Stay, 12km north-east of Cue, almost halfway between Perth and Karijini. There's a choice of accommodation including a recently renovated 100+ year old Shearers Quarters along with the Overseer's Cottage, with two bedrooms that sleeps up to six. If those walls could speak, the tales they would tell!!The Homestead camp ground accomodates unpowered caravans and campers, with an undercover BBQ area and fire pit, plenty of dining seating along with a rustic camp kitchen. The farm is complete with a resident Bower Bird, pigs, sheep, horses, chickens and cows. The owners, Cath and Dave are hospitable and friendly, mixing with the visitors after their work is done for the day. A load of cattle came in that evening before we settled down in front of a roaring fire and exchanged travel itineraries. A great spot to stop for the night, warm and welcoming!#Officially_perth

Awesome ''serene'' experience in more ways than one as travelling in a group of vehicles and friends, we had vehicle trouble with a Fuel line on mates 100 Series Landcruiser leaking and mates 300 Series Park Brake would not release.Dave the station owner at 6 pm brought the 100 Series to his shed and after removing many belly guards and fuel system covers and brackets located the leak and repaired it in a couple of hours. With our 300 Series the next morning (electric park brake motor) Dave also repaired/soldered up motor after it was removed in his Shed!! Wouldn't even take a cent from any of us!!His staff were so friendly and knowledgable in every aspect of things to do, places to see, how to do this and that and just incredible experience. Can't recommend the place highly enough!!
