We had the cashew nut stri fry & see ew noddle. The food was good and in large portions, however we asked for the cashew nut to be not spicy, which in return we got supper spicy!

I visited the restaurant for lunch where there is only another table but still find the service was below average. Barely get a greeting from staff and have to call 3 times to get the order taken. Food was ok and they don’t have lunch special. Found a few big pieces of fat in the curry which is inedible. Pad Thai wasn’t taste like pad thai to me. The pork belly dish was nice despite the price. Overall I didn’t think it’s as good as the reviews that made me visit the place.

Had a lovely evening at the Hanuman Thai restaurant. A very lively setting. Maybe a little loud for some people. Excellent food. I really enjoyed the green papaya salad and the crispy skin pork. We will definitely be going back.

The staff was pretty friendly overall, they aren't very talkative though.The food was quickly delivered which was nice although the dessert got delivered a little bit too early.The portion sizes seemed to be too little for the dessert and too big for the pad Thai.The food did taste quite nice overall but was overpriced.The restaurant itself has poor lighting and open windows overlooking the busy and noisy street. The decor in the restaurant is also not very aesthetically pleasing.As an independent experience, it was a nice night but I probably wouldn't go regularly.

First time visited this restaurant and the atmosphere there was quite relaxed and I enjoyed the lunch with my family. I forgot the name of those dishes we ordered but everything we ate were really tasty and delicious, and the price are very reasonable. This is one of my favourite restaurant in Sydney. Strongly recommend to come and try.

We have been coming here for what feels like 10 years most months ( apparently 7 only) disappointingly the service attitude has changed we were all very unimpressed!! Tonight even before our 2 sample plates was only 1/2 eaten they bought a main dish, we sent it back!! They came back again with 2 main meals and rice.We sent them back!! With food still on one of the sample plate they tried to take it away.When our main meals arrived ALL at the same time they were LUKE warm!!The female person at the cashier was adamant no spilt bills but she would take 2 credit cards and cash. This same person last week when I was there argued with me about no spilt bills. Last week like tonight wework out the bill with cash and 2 cards last week a tip was included … not tonight!!Since covid I don’t carry cash and I always pay my bills.Hanuman Thai you have now lost loyal customers not only with the friends I was with tonight, they won’t be back but with the friends I was with last week and I will tell my experience to everyone I know as we all live locally.

Probably the best Thai food I have had in Sydney. Of course, prices have risen compared to a few months ago, but far less than other comparable restaurants. Great selections and portion sizes.

We had a good lunch here on a quiet day. The fishcakes were especially good. Duck stir fry and the tofu/eggplant were equally delicious. It's BYO so no house wine etc. Street level, good accessibility plus a disabled toilet

It's ok. I just got back from some amazing dining in Thailand so it would have been tough comparing in any case. Still, I thought the food and service was average and only one option for my GF, Nightshade free diet. I really missed the beautiful service the Thai people always afford.
